The mod desn't work since the June update. All hairstyles don't show in the creation screen. Can you fix please?
Edit: After restarting the game, the mod works well. But now we have this bug: "Wearing this hair style causes the roots to change colour and all the other hairs you put on afterwards are then darker than your desired hair color. Only way to fix it to restart game and not equip the ponytail hair"
Edit 2: A fix has been found on the Hogwarts Legacy Modder discord.
Hey, so sorry! I didn't see your post originally, but it was finally brought to my attention. I've uploaded the fixes made by icouldifiwantedto on the Hogwarts legacy modding discord with their permission and will see if I can upload the remaining 3 ponytails in the future. (Currently a bit busy in real life, and I'd have to redownload Hogwarts Legacy to test it properly).
For now only two of the 5 ponytail types are updated. Very sorry about this
Hey guys, for the remaining 3 files that still need updates, I won't be able to fix it anytime soon, and probably not at all. I'm going through a lot in my personal life, and I can't find neither the time nor the motivation for it. I've moved on from the game also. If you want to uploadyour own fix on nexus, please feel free to do so. If not, you can also DM me and I'll upload your updated files with credit. I'm sorry everyone
Q: Other hairstyle requests.. A: No, sorry.. We're not 3D modelers. These hairstyles are already in the game for NPCs, i just made them available for the player.
Q: Which face settings are you using in the pictures? A: It's base game [Face 3, Skin 1, HairColor 14, Complexion 7, Freckles 10, EyeColor 3, EyebrowColor 19, Eyebrow 10] + Vessnelle'sComplexionsC1
Q: It conflicts with X mod, will you fix?! A: We're not experienced enough to resolve these issues for you I'm sorry. Please try the "alternative" file and report back on if it worked for you.
Troubleshooting: - Try reinstalling into the /paks folder, this is apparently helping some people - PLEASE try the new alternative file if you have issues with High options
WORKAROUND FOR THE PONYTAIL CLIPPING THROUGH HOODS: (For now..)
Equip a hat right before you put the hood up, and have the hat be actually visible, then put the hood on. This will make it so that the pony tail won't clip while the hood is up. When you want to put the hood back down, simply make the hat invisible again and you'll have your ponytail back.
Big thanks to icouldifiwantedto for updating the "High No Bangs" hairstyle of this mod! (For the old version of Hogwarts Legacy [not the Jan30th+ version]) Everyone who waited for it like me, enjoy!
Hey, sorry for the super late reply. It's been a busy month and I've kind of moved on from Hogwarts legacy now that I finished it, but basically we can't really do a mod with a unique ponytail model, because neither of us knows how to do that. The reason we were able to create this mod is because those hairstyles were already in the game.
I'm using Ponytail Low Part Bangs, and I love it. Is it expected behaviour to "loose" the hair when wearing a hat? I looks to me that a hat, returns the hair back to bald. Or is it a conflict with other mods I'm running? Taking the hat off (or transmog it) returns Ponytail Low Part Bangs, so it's no big deal at all.
It's normal! I think the hairstyle was made with the NPCs in mind, so they didn't add a way for it to look better when wearing a hat. But other hairstyles, even the ones normally available do struggle with similar issues when wearing hats.
Thank you for confirming. I suspected it was "vanilla" behaviour, but haven't played the game without this mod, and aren't starting now :D Is it a limitation in the engine, or do you think it's possible to have hats + hair, in stead of replacing hair in the future? What is the point of beautiful hair, if the smallest hat ruins it? Good we have transmog system in place, so I don't have to show my hats :P
I don't think it can be fixed without actually modelling models for each hat options. Even if some hats share the same/similar models, that would be a huge amount of effort and I don't see it happening any time soon, but the modding community has been amazing thus far, so you never know!
Wait are male and female hair options separate? I just want the high ponytail no bangs version for male. All the vanilla male options are shitty because they have a parting in the middle. That looks bad for male options. I just want a normal male ponytail option is that too much to ask?
Honestly I always thought both male and female have the same hair options, because there are so many female-looking hair options in the male character creator.
Either way the hair does not appear for my male character, I still just have a bald option

Not sure what you tried, but my recommendation would be to try a process of elimination:
1. Uninstall ALL mods
- I find the quickest way to uninstall mods that i want to keep, is to just to Zip them up (select the files, right-click, "compress to zip file")
- Then delete the loose files
- That way when you want to reinstall a mod you just Extract from the Zip
2. Then only install this mod by itself3. Confirm if the installation is working:
These are unlocked existing game assets.

edit: scratch that, this mod covers all the rest of the hairstyles
