Hello guys, i have issues, when i launch the game the console open and i got a message saying Error: [WinFile::open_file] Tried opening file for writing but encountered an error. Path & File: G:\Game\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Binaries\Win64\UE4SS.log | GetLastError() = 5 2023-03-04T14:07:46.059[I] DllMain.cpp:22 Attached GfeSDK.dll ChromaSDKPlugin failed to load!
I don't know what to do because every other solutions doesn't work
После того, как скопируете папку TakeTheBiscuitUnofficialFix в папку *\HogwartsLegacy\Phoenix\Binaries\Win64\Mods, в самой игре нужно: 1. Подойти к клетке 2. Нажать F10, появится командная строка 3. Написать в строке "Unlock" и нажать enter. (Unlock писать с большой буквы). 4. Применить на клетку заклинание Reparo (риперо, заклинание для подчинки, именно его, а не Ривелио (revelio)). 5. Профит

Since developers have not fixed this yet and mod was not updated once - it does not work with latest UE4SS. You need versin UE4SS_Xinput_v2.3.1 for it to work. Versions after that do not work with this mod.
After installed, then worked. i opened the cage and save some animals and i saved the game.. After that i deleted the mod and when i try to open the game, just closed it itself....
It worked for me after a while struggling! I had to give permission to each file and folder and start the game with Administrator rights. You'll know it's working when the debugging console starts logging.
I did EVERYTHING, didn't work, I am not a stupid, I put it in correct folder and all, tried different versions and all. Console starts etc. No issues. But I DIDN'T know it needs to log (meaning, it needs to write things).
So the solution is simple if you haven't screwed anything else up. This is already mentioned in one of the posts but here I am making sure everyone knows:
Just run the game as Administrator. Then if all else is fine it will log, you don't need to do anything else. Just go to the location and hit Reparo and this time it will work. It did for me. It never did before. Not once. This was the solution for me. Make sure to complete the mission and save and then remove this mod (Biscuit one, you can still use UE4SS for other things so you just need to remove this one's folder: TakeTheBiscuitUnofficialFix). You can also disable the debug window as described in the main page of this mod. Enjoy.
Works perfectly. Make sure you follow the instructions correctly by downloading UE4SS_Xinput_v2.5.1.zip (The correct one with Xinput in the name) as well as deleting all files you just inserted into the games directories once you capture biscuit (save game straight after and delete the files to revert back to normal. Happy days.
i've followed your guide but downloaded the first UE4SS mentioned in your guide, like in the picture: this one downloads one version that doesnt work!!! (UE4SS-2.XDev-windows.zip)
I'm guessing that the people who said this worked already had installed UE4SS from another mod and for the people that this guide/mod didn't work (like me) installed the wrong one from the first link.

be sure to download the second one (https://github.com/UE4SS-RE/RE-UE4SS/releases/download/v2.5.1/UE4SS_Xinput_v2.5.1.zip).
