When I first downloaded it the 100% worked beautifully. Then I wanted to add another SQL mod and used the recommended merger then nothing worked anymore. Deleted the merged file and re-downloaded the original; doesn't work anymore. 50% used to still work but same thing here, it doesn't anymore and I really have no clue why. I've tried everything but deleting and re-installing the game and am super sad that there are no more giant sheep and cats in my game 😢
Well, I tried the merging again, with the latest version, and now it does seem to work. Might have been a glitch or something, I don't know, but it works now :D
I'm not sure if it's just me, but it's not working for me. I checked the ~mod folder, and there's no mod that can be merged with Mod Merger, so... I'm lost...
I also do not seem to have any effect from this mod, I accidentally at first had all 3 files copied, reverted that, but even with just one file it does nothing. I run the Vivarium Upgrade Mod with it, even the merging stuff doesn't seem to do anything.
something that works in variation with the shiny mod that increases the shiny variant chances to have a "large" "small" "tiny" or "huge" shiny adds 5 shiny types to each animal : )
Every other pak in that directory that I try to merge tells me, "This mod cannot be (or does not need to be) merged with this tool." So I don't think any of my other mods modify SQL data. So I should just be able to put BeastSizeVariation100.pak in my mods folder without having to run it through the mod merger first, right?
This might be unrelated, but is it possible to mod this game to replace one enemy type with another? I really wish there were far more truly random encounters with wizards, and I wish there was a way to replace either friendly animals like deers with wizards, or spiders with wizards. I guess it might break quests or the ability to loot spider-related loot, but I am mostly interested in the concept of AI swapping....
Or a way to creating new spawn rules. I don't know how this game works, really.
Just curious. I am wondering if such a thing will even happen...
I literally tried it right now with a friend, it doesn't seem to work, we tried to put trolls a bit everywhere like instead of sheeps or cows or some enemies
Did you try this because I asked or because it was a coincidence and you were going to test this anyway? :D
In any case, I dont think it would work that easily. If I have one big crit about the game is that the combat (especially vs other wizards) is really fun, but there's hardly enough of it. There is pretty little combat, in general. And also, the world is so scripted and none organic that exploring feels a bit stale and boring since enemies only spawn in very small specific points, like camps and caves and quest areas. There are no large groups of enemies roaming. Only some wolves or spiders.
I assumed the game would be really fun if the player could encounter patrols of 2-6 poachers here and there and have some fun random encounters.

Are you sure you don't have other mods using SQL and conflicting

I myself use the 33% and already encounter changed wildlife.
Either you just didn't get luck yet, or you have other mods and didn't merge.
