Might be an odd request, but could we have a version that provides even LESS experience? Say reduce it to about 1/4 or even 1/10?
Using mods like Enemy Spawner and More Enemies, you level up very, very quickly, and although these mods provide a challenge out in the world and in dungeons, it invariably overlevels the character by an extreme amount for the story.
An example mod that does this is https://www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/853, though at the time of writing Nexusmods marked it hidden. Hopefully, it will be back whenever you read this or shortly after.
Why won't it work once I enter my game? When I grabbed a field guide to test it, it only said 80 xp. I don't know whether the display will only say 80 xp or if it's supposed to say 160 xp. I followed the instructions, and it's the only mod in the mods folder; all my other mods are in the ~mods folder. Am I doing something wrong for it not to work?
Thanks - possible however more complex as the values to change are not straightfroward - you might have a look at other QOL mods, I think some of them include gold modifier in them ;)
If you look for gameplay mod rebalance, some of them make change to selling and buying prices, which in turn will increase or decrease your gold as you play - But there is no gold multiplier mod - only way to do that right now is to use cheatengine type software who modifies the live memory datas as it is not a simple SQL to change.
Hi there It seems that the x2 xp partially works since the update I mean when i grab an object it doesn't up my xp points anymore only during side/missions I precise that i merged it like i did for the previous version meaning that i put the file at the top I have to remove it EDIT: My bad works well
This mod only seems to work for me when I remove all my other mods-- but I can get it to work, so I know it's not an installation issue. Can anyone tell me which types of mods interfere with this, so I can at least narrow it down?
So far, it would seem that No Cooldowns, Lengendary Loot, Increased Spell Range, or basically anything that isn't purely cosmetic, will negate the effect of this mod.
It is an installation issue fortunately for you ^^
As said in the description of this mod, if you have other mod that changes the SQL file, you need to merge them (ie increase spell range, no cooldown, legendary loot, they all change value in the SQL file). You need to use the Mod merger addon which is in the description in order to merge all these mod into 1 file - it is fairly easy to do, just read how to on the mod merger page. Additional note, when you merge them, make sure to have this mod added first (on top of the list in the mod merger).
I wouldn't object, except that all my other mods are compatible with one another. I may as well just level to 40 as quickly as possible, then remove this one, and add all my others, rather than screw with yet another app.
I can only advise you what needs to be done, and I have done many times myself with different mods - which is to merge this mod with any other SQL mod (instruction on the mod itself, find a link in the description). Not all mods are SQL so if you try to merge mods which are not, then it will not work.
Unfortunately, that is the only way for SQL mods to work together, they require merging - Otherwise you can always try and find another XP mod, but similarly, they would require merging if you use other SQL mods.
Hi there so installed the mod (twice less) i merged at the top of 2 other files but when i jumped into the game i notice than my lvl remain the same i was 22 before in installed it and still at 22 ? not11? or does it work only with a new save file? Beside that the less twice xp works well..
This mod doesn't change your level. As in the description, only changes how much xp you gain - Once you put the mod, whether you are level 1 or 30, it will either double or divide by 2 all xp gains in the game.
i havent tried the mod yet however once i'm done with the main story i probably will. i just wanted to say you're a nice person lol i was reading your replies in the comments and you're very helpful :D

The Percival Rackham Bugfix also works as i needed to use it as well.

What are the chances of making a (gold multiplier) mod, akin to this one?
Hope that helps.
Mind pointing me at the right direction? graciously ofc (:
