General notice, for the time being I am leaving the mod in it's current state until I find the proper time to rebuild it from the ground up
since some people have been experiencing bugs that under normal circumstances shouldn't be happening due to a simple mod like this combined with the fact that after a long time of searching I cannot find what causes these issues I have decided to rebuild this from the ground up when I find the time to do so (my apologies but academics take a priority for me)
This is a statement saying that this mod does work but for some it may give unexpected results.

The "Better and Instant TImeskip" pairs well with this mod, making stock refresh less hassle! The vendor stock has been working wonderfully! I notice for the gear that the amount of each rarity item scales with how many would've originally appeared. If only 1 legendary appears, the mod scales it up to have 4 appear. I had 20 legendaries which must've meant I had a good rotation if it were unmodded of like 5 legendaries appearing.
10/10 Would endorse again! 🥰 The gear quality hasn't really been poor at all, it's all just rng what you get with the stats.
well I am going to be 100% honest, I have been looking all over to figure out why it works for some users and doesn't for others even though it multiplies the same params for everyone (can't currently launch the game so this is the only place I can really look), but it being a multiplier to existing RNG makes so much sense, I will certainly look into getting that rate up too once I can get back to releasing, thank you so much for pointing this out
This mod is not being updated anymore? Side note to all mod makers: This is not new but it was very resourced and demanding when it came out so not everyone could enjoy it or even play it at the time but many can play the game these days and updating the mod would really help the community as we all appreciate your hard work.
You guys please spread the word so mods get updated since the last update of the game killed almost all the mods.
Maybe I am having a dumb moment. Added the Mod and the first time I went to Gladrags, I could see the increased amount of items. Having bought them off and gone off to level some, I thought I would come back to see what new gear the shop had. Despite story progressing the day, open world time change as well as waiting, Gladrags has not restocked after 10 in-game days. Does the mod not apply to Gladrags because they are on a different restock program; like others have suggested, is Gladrags story progression based?
Upon further exploration, I ran out of Hogsmeade to the Wanderer's Shop. Never used this store front before and the store has absolutely nothing to see me. I am also noticing chests and bags i open seem to be empty. Too tired at the moment, will try removing the mod and run some more trials to see if everything works without the mod or not
in short, the mod is pretty lightweight as in that it only edits some sqlite values to give the vendors well a bigger stock
normally speaking changing this number to a higher value shouldn't cause any bugs or issues aslong as the games engine and the UI can handle larger amounts of items.
now I will say that I am looking into why players run into bugs with this (and trust me I've been looking for some time but can't rlly find a way to replicate it on my saves which makes it rlly difficult to patch)
in short I'd reccomend indeed reinstalling the mod by 1.deleting the mod first 2. loading the save (this is safe because the values will just revert back to normal and no new records were made nor are there missing records) 3. saving the game 4. reinstall
currently this is unfortunately the best advice I can give you as I can't seem to find why such a minor change in values is affecting the game so hard for some players.
on an additional note I did notice the game somewhat tries to prevent duplicate gear being obtained and since the stock increase covers alot of the items this could be a reason for empty stock and empty chests, I am not saying this is the reason the inventory is empty but since I am looking everywhere this is a suspect
Some advice is better than no advice at all. So, thank you for that. I am just now booting into steam for the night/morning and will tinker around some and see what all transpires. I did notice though that the file is set as .pak.pak. Could that have any hand in the shenanigans? Every other mod i have seen is just .pak OR .ucas OR .utoc. Even going back and looking at other mods for this game, I have not come across a double filetype label like that.
I did remove the mod, save, close, reopen as you suggested. Gladrags is back in stock, the other areas not yet, so I am also concluding that the game doesn't really want me out there in those areas yet.
Standing in Gladrags as I do all this. I looked in the store before i saved before reinstalling and then looked again after reinstalling (but removed the second .pak from the mod) Gladrag's inventory was the same size between No Mod and Modified Mod. Deleted Modified Mod and Replaced your actual file, Gradrag still has the same stuff.
Do I need to be doing a multi wait cycle to push the days forward 3-4 days as well.
I will say, I am finding the 3-4 day (so 6 to 8 waits) didn't really do it for me. I was better off doing 5 days (so 10 waits minimum. At this point when I went back to Gladrag, I could definitely see an increase in their stock over all vs where it was before the waiting. Perhaps I am going crazy as well, I dont think even money is coming from chests when I open them...but I could just be missing the notifications.

as for the double .pak that is mainly a naming error that never got corrected but it doesn't affect the outcome since most operating systems only bother with the last identifier indicated by the last .
I did pin a message from another user who reported having more luck using another mod called better time skip (removed his hastle with refreshing inventory) as for the no money appearing I can add it to my list of potential bugs this causes to look into although I haven't seen/heard that one before however it is possible
In short if restock is the main concern the other mod mentioned above might be a nice fix.
Regardless thank you for not directly going full out on a mod author it's a nice change from the user base (yes I get DM's sometimes of people complaining that I don't work fast enough and yes there are alot of normal users too but the interaction most of the time comes from the first type)
Who am I to rip into a Mod author? I couldn't code my way out of a bag if I was given the code and told to copy/paste it, something would still go wrong. Like I tried to say, the money thing could be me not watching for the notifications properly. The no gear could be like you said where it could be the game removing repetition of gear. The chests could also be giving me reagents and mats for Herbology or Potions and again I am not reading all of the notifications. I still wonder if the game has a soft-lock on areas despite being Sandbox. Like it knows I shouldn't be there due to level or story progression. It is expecting me to be at a different part of the story and leveling that way instead of just running through the woods firebombing like an arsonist to grind levels.
The restock seems to behaving better now, I seem to just need an extra game day or two to make sure it works. Pressing the Wait button and such doesn't really bother me. Perhaps the extra days are knocking out the repeated gear as well. Example; vendor is meant to sell that stuff 4 game days in a row in some table, waiting 8 days passes that table count and lets the refresh happen. I am definitely just guessing and spit-balling here.
If the mod didn't work for me, I wouldn't have minded per se; like I said, I figure with my luck I am just doing things bass-ackwards. But living and thinking that way builds up a desire to at least put feelers and warnings out to help other people not go that way as well.
Again, I am chalking this up to "I shouldnt be here yet", but I am getting a mixture of a crash or extensive lag to pull data when talking to Priya(?) Treadwell. Just bringing it up because I have seen others mention crashes in the past. Could also just be because she is trying to sell about 100k Moonstones in clumps of 999
Just keep adding notes to this as I see things. Unless 'EMPTY' is an option on the loot table, something is affecting chests because I just opened 3 back-to-back in the undercroft and got nothing from any of them.

twitch items? do you mean the twitch drops? cause to my knowledge the only twitch drops that exist aren't added to the vendor list However I could be wrong since I haven't played the game in 3 months at this point.
installed this and didn't have any crashes.. problem is that it made the gear vendor worse lol. i waited the 3 days for a stock refresh and not a single piece of legendary gear to be found.
update: as one of the users pointed out the loot is still very much RNG based however the mod does increase the amount of items the RNG will give you say 1 legendary items turns into 1-8 items
I also updated the mod description to indicate this now

the main thing is just that I don't want to release a update for people to download that hasn't been tested at all
Edit: I had 2 external users test the updated file for me they confirmed it to be working so I will release it with a disclaimer that I haven't tested it for those who still want a updated version.
Quick Question. I added this Mod to a current save, but it seemed to disable all of my merged mods?? I had been running mods smoothly up until downloading this one, and none of my merged mods worked, even after deleting this mod. Is this just a coincidence?
what probably happend is that there is a incompatibility with one of the mods with this mod, this can be fixed from version 1.3 onwards since it supports the use of the mod merger tool now, however the steps for deinstalling this mod still apply if removed the game files must be validated to have their values return to normal.
Out of the blue this (Bigger vendor stock) seems to no longer be working for me. I have Vivarium Upgrado (Rescue All Animals) and Crystal Clear MiniMap only besides this mod. For clarity I am not using the 100x version I am using the stable version. All of my vendors have minimal stock.
Neither the stable nor 100x version works for me at the moment. I only have the "No Broom Burst Decay" and "Paler and Darker Skins" mods, so there should be no conflict at all.
so I know why it is no longer working and this ties into another issue that I have resolved in the 1.3 version VIvarium upgrado edits the DBtable that is also edited by Bigger vendor stock therefor overwritting it therefor requiring a mod merge with the other mods which was not possible untill version 1.3 of this mod which has been released today
Hi, I am out of town until June 5th to work on my thesis project, therefore I can investigate but not update the main mod files until then (since I can't test the mod and therefore don't want to make new edits), However in case there are issues please list them under bug report so I don't have to go through the comment section to search for them.
as for the mod incompatibility issue I have released a version of this mod that can be merged using the mod merger tool.
In the meantime I will do my best to answer any questions anyone may have to get the mod working in their game.
