Did you try this one though? I notice some other's I've seen are much larger files than vanilla, but this one is almost exactly the same. I just tried it today and didn't notice any difference in performance at all. Though it sounds like you have an older setup than me if running on low with problems. I have a 1070 and with things on medium and also using Reshade still get 60fps most of the time with some rare dips into the 40+ at worst. Even in the moving stairs area I didn't notice any dif in performance with this mod so don't be afraid to try it out if you like the look of it.
Oh also I tried this after the update today (2/14) but I have no idea if it was supposed to help performance or was just bug fixes. If the former then I hope it helps your game run better at least!
I have tried it, and it works but in game the frame is cropped, I think this is a problem when exporting videos after editing, or maybe even from converting BK2 to video for the first time because the file size is very large after converting to video, can you help me

how do i get it to work?
i have my game set to low settings, no 4k upscaler, and 50% render quality because of all the performance problems on pc
even with the above settings, these picture replacer mods cause HORRIBLE stuttering, snagging, and lagging
