combined with ultra plus ive got massiiiiive godrays of fog thickened light peering through archways etc. i can see the ray tracing accumulation lagging behind due to its motion vectoring on them and its just completely borked, wanted to use this badly buuuut.
a quick question, how can i increase the likelyhood of fogs. I want more chances of fog than this mod and the Vanilla i would LOVE fog completly covering the edges (the serounding mountins).. just like the poster below (ofcourse thats CGI but im refering to the amout of fog i would LOVE and were?
1. June version 2. Full version 3. Ultra Plus v9.0 \ Realism Lighting 4. High 5. RTX 3070 8GB / GRD 551.61 Additional Info: Using RTX HDR which necessitates disabling in-game and Windows Auto HDR; tested on an OLED panel
I decided to start a fresh playthrough using Ultra Plus v9.0 (Realism) & Ultra Fog and up until Gringotts the results are spectacular. However, there is one nitpick and another issue that makes the game visually unplayable.
The nitpick is the raised black level. I've checked and double-checked the image calibration, driver settings, and TV settings and it isn't a hardware or external software issue. Deleting the paks returns the picture back to Ultra Plus' Engine.ini settings which results in perfect black level. Turns out the nitpick is due to Realism Lighting have the following different value than all the other lighting paks Realism Lighting's value r.Color.Min=0.007 All other lighting .pak values r.Color.Min=0.00
The unplayable issue is after the PC touches the door in the vault and is transported with Professor Fig into what is supposed to be pitched darkness. Instead, it's a gray haze that obscures both characters and *barely* shows their outline when Professor Fig casts Lumos. Even activating the first ancient magic point doesn't fix/change anything and barely anything is visible. Again, deleting the paks returns the image to a proper display where everything is visible.
Did you find this in any other areas? I removed the mod at Gringotts and then put it back in once I was done because I noticed the same issue. I also notice when I use my map, Hogwarts and Hogsmead is completely covered in fog and I can't see anything on the map. World wide map is fine tho.
Is it possible that updating my AMD driver to the newest version could suddenly cause this mod to stop working? I used to use it with no problems (other than the known issues), but now it's crashing my game. I checked that it wasn't conflicting with any other mods. I don't know enough about how it works to know if updated drivers can cause issues.
Somehow, my game's Engine.ini got reset to its vanilla state. Since I use both this mod and Ultra+ together, which both change the Engine.ini file, this was the problem! No wonder it wasn't working right! Why didn't I check that first?!?!
Game instantly crashes upon trying to load into the world. When i remove the pak files from the ~mods folder the game works again. Im on build 1145881.

I am old and dumb.
I've used PakChunkChecker and it's not in conflict with any other mods.
