Hary on the Digital Dreams discord posted a screenshot of Hogwarts that made my mind explode. I tried to recreate it in a lighting mod.
This mod focuses on bringing out all the tiny details, in textures, landscape, and the incredible world Avalanche created. Changes sky, water, clouds (increasing from 960 pixels wide to 2048), atmosphere, lighting, bloom, reflections, shadows, enables SSGI (or RTAO if you prefer) and colour grading to bring out all the details in the game.
It's similar to my Fantasy Lighting mod but more "real" and detailed, focusing on making the game feel (to me) real and visceral. Great for a second playthrough.
Unlike Fairy Tale Lighting, this mod needs Ultra+ to increase the LODs, and raytracing and non-raytracing quality, and performance. SSGI has some performance cost. Ultra+ minimises this cost.
You can use this mod standalone, you just won't get the full effect.
Installation
To install, use a mod manager, or just copy the pak to
Requires Ultra Plus Better Lighting and Performance.
Uninstalling
Delete the pak.
