I've put a file on Nexus (for people who doesn't want to use Curseforge). I'll let you test whether removing the .uplugin file or putting the files in /~mods/ works. The other solution is to rollback you game version to before the 2025 update.
I agree that it's totally stupid to disable Achievements for cosmetic mods, but there is nothing more I can do. :(
Moving and renaming the files doesn't work. The game detects the mod and attempts to deactivate it... It tells me to either delete the mods or use the stupid Mod Menu. The Mod Menu is useless on PC! 😭
This mod is so nice! Unfortunately after the official mod update the game crashes when using it during gameplay. It seems there are some issues with mods interacting with characters mesh skeleton that makes the game crash. It would be amazing if the mod author ever finds time to look into it.
Is it possible to edit this to change what hairstyle gets used when putting on a hat? Im using a custom hair that doesn't have a hat mesh, so the low pony gets used. But id rather use one of the already hat compatible vanilla shorter hairs instead.
Can you make a version of this that takes the Ravenclaw Hair mod into account, please? It is a better version of the Grey Lady Hair and has its own hat meshes as well.
When I equip a hat it changes to the garlic hairstyle, unfortunately it seems to only happen to the hairstyle that I want to use right now, the bun with fringe
Could you possibly add female hairstyle 37 to this mod? I love her bangs and they disappear with hats. It uses the same bangs as another hairstyle in the mod I believe.
I'm so glad this mod exists, I can now finally wear hats with some of my favorite hairstyles! ^^
I was actually trying to get a hat version compatible with one of my custom modded hairs, do you know how I can make that possible? Because I'm having troubles getting it to work :')
You need to make 2 differents meshes, one for straight hats (HatA) and another for tilted hats (HatB). Basically, you have to make sure to remove or squeeze all the hair so that it doesn't stick out of the hat.

In the DA file of your hairstyle, you then have to put those 2 meshes in the "Mesh Overrides". This means that when you wear hat A, it puts on hairstyle A.
I switched to the latest update and noticed that Calliope Snelling in Hogsmeade (the hairdresser) is bald. I switched back to an older version which fixed Calliope but now Madam Beaumont from Upper Hogsfield has floating hair.
The only other hair mod I have is Vanilla Ponytails. I will test to make sure that is not the cause, but wanted to let you know about the Calliope Snelling glitch with the newest version, just in case it is this mod.
Although I think I saw you mention somewhere that you're taking a break from modding? In which case, I apologize if this message is annoying. I just thought better to report it than not say anything.
Hello ! Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I finally opened the game to check and you were right, Calliope Snelling was bald! I've changed her hairstyle but I forgot the most important file... -_-
And her hairstyle is only available with the Extended Character Creator, I'm not sure it was vital to do it... anyway, it's done. x)

Or here on Nexus, if you prefer. :)
You'll need to extract the files here: .../Steam/steamapps/common/Hogwarts Legacy/Phoenix/
If you download an older file for an older version of HL, extract it here:
.../Steam/steamapps/common/Hogwarts Legacy/Phoenix/Content/Paks/~mods/
I don't want to devalue your hard work, but I hate giving up Achievements for mods that don't even break the game...

I'm on the HL modding discord if you have more questions. :)
