This does help, the other person complaining how easy it is doesn't think maybe everyone isn't as smart or as a good memory to remember all those numbers an such. Stuff like this helps me because of my memory problems since childhood. I can remember some stuff if it's obvious an I do it all the time. I don't play games as I did years ago an most of it is because of my memory problems. Good for you ! if your smart enough go for it. But don't clump every body else with you. What you just did was rude an making fun of those who can't do what you can. People like myself with a learning problem pls a memory problem plus more mental problems an health problems slipping up on me having mods like this does help not just because it easy for someone like you but it lets me enjoy the game without getting depressed or to stressed trying to figure these things out. And right now stress has to be on the low end because of my current health problem. Sadly I will be removing this mod as it's not as clear to see the numbers and creature's, there is another mod that does the same thing but with more pictures to show how clear those same things are on their mod.
for the dumb-dumbs who didn't notice that most of these animals/figures have a characteristic that recalls the number they represent :P
0 = demiguise: they can become invisible, iirc, so it kinda recalls the "nothingness", so the 0 1 = unicorn: it has 1 horn, duh 2 = goat: has two horns. double-duh 3 = hydra: 3 heads 4 = owl: this, I'm not sure, actually 5 = that strange creature with 5 legs 6 = lizard: if you look closely it has 6 horns 7 = also not sure what this is 8 = spider. no need to explain 9 = is that a giant squid? anyway, it has 9 tentacles.
come on, guys... except for the number 4 and 7 that aren't very clear, it's elementary, and once you know the others you remember these 2 too. no need for a mod.
(not to mention that there are a couple of places where you find a note that explicitly specifies which figure is which number)
Yep, they're ancient runes :) 0 = demiguise, invisible 1 = unicorn 2 = graphorn (not goat), but still 2 horns 3 = runespoor (3 heads, the hydra is 9) 4 = fwooper, a bird with 4 different colours in its feathers (Can't really tell when its all one silhouette though) 5 = Quintaped (literally means 5 legs) 6 = salamander 7 = Unknown symbol, representing the mysterious power of the number 7 (the most magical number) 8 = spider 9 = hydra
Seems to crash the game, In my case specifically, after Fig comes back and you must meet him to talk about the Map Chamber where you need the rest of the book. As soon as I Floo there, or halfway up the stairs to that floor when walking there, the game freezes permanently or ctds. Removing this mod solved it. Other mods i have:
