    Update 1.2

    Changelog

    • Fix toggle compass visibility not being persistent after loading
NOTE: If you hide the compass with B (or your custom key) it will remain hidden even if you exit and reopen the game. Keep that in mind, it's not a bug, it's working as intended.
    • For modders only: Added custom boolean bForceVisible if you need it for some reason.

    Update 1.1

    Changelog

    • Made it compatible with Vortex

    Known issues
Some missions are not showing any yellow marker. I'm working on a fix.

Can you add closest Floo Station to compass?

Can't seem to get this to work with vortex at all. Have tried everything. Such a great mod when it worked last year.

Nice mod, would it be possible to implement a level system in a way that if the mission marker is under or on top of you there would be an arrow pointing up/down next to the marker on compass or put the marker slightly on top of the compass or below the compass depending on your current level... for example in Hogwarts there is many levels above you and many levels below you and the compass only shows you the direction but not the level where it is, cheers!

My game crashes after the initial warning intro using this mod while it runs fine without it. I tried without using any other mods and just installing Blueprint Apparate Modloader, it's still the same. Any way i can do to fix this issue?

You probably have another mod that shares the same chunkID of this mod for textures. Use some tool to deal with conflicts like Chunk ID Conflict Manager.

OMG This is awesome, this is exactly what I need. I turned off the minimap to make it more immersive (otherwise I look at it too much rather than learning the castle and environment by sight), but I do like to know where N/E/S/W are without opening the map. And I also like to be able to see what direction the quest markers etc are in.

I was literally thinking "hmm I wish there was just a simple compass with no map" today, and just now I happened to be looking at your mods after commenting on your wonderful Tempus Imperium mod, and saw this. JUST WHAT I NEED!

Thank you so much for your time in creating and sharing these. I'm really humbled by the generosity of the modding community in doing all of this work for free. Even if it's because you yourselves want the feature, that you take the time to upload them, share them, respond to comments etc is very generous with your time and I as a player am so grateful for mods. This is why I can never go back to console gaming even though upgrading my motherboard, RAM, and CPU will cost more than an XBOX, and I also need a graphics card upgrade after that, and wouldn't mind an NVMe SSD or two, but the modding and flexibility with PC gaming just makes it so much better than consoles. Worth the cost.  My CPU and RAM are over 10 years old, but they can play the game on settings between low and medium with a decent 20-30 FPS... Lowest settings gives 30-60. And my BIOS is due to die any day soon, as the main BIOS already died and it's using the backup one. Yay for Gigabyte's dual bios thingamambob). Oopsies, went off on a bit of a tangent there...

I was actually kind of surprised that a simple compass wasn't a default navigation option.  Thanks for this.

Does this show target markers for enemies?  Because if not, that would be perfect.

On the description, he said that's in the works. Here's hoping, yeah?

I should have clarified that I actually don't want the target markers.  I hope the option is included to disable them if they are added.

@carpesangrea it's not showing enemies for now, but only player waymarker and mission (if eligible).
Anyways you can disable both of them in the options menu, and when I'll show more markers, including enemies, I'll make them also optional and toggleable.

The only marker I can see is if I make a waypoint. I see no quest or player markers

+1 here, too.  The only marker I see no matter what I do or what I try tracking is if I place a custom purple one.
