Works on Steam Deck (OS v3.6.20). Installed the game fresh and copied over the files. Edited scripts/h47.ini and set "Height = 800". Runs 4:3 if you try launching it in desktop mode, but back in gaming mode, its a perfect 1280x800.
Is it possible to do not change any draw distance values? I know about "6 is default" in h47.ini. But this is not default draw distance of the clear game it's diffirent anyway. I tried to catch the right values but it's inpossible because it's works different I'm a speedrunner of this game and wants to play in widescreen but i can't with this mod (even NPCs behaivor is different because they sees or not sees something)
I did not change any draw distance values. This change was most likely made by the author of the original fix (Nemesis2000). Sorry, but I can't help you any more.
Hey there, mod works great for me but I was wondering if you'd consider adding a version that increases the draw distance like the "HitmanUnlocker" mod.
Both mods use the DSound.dll library so it's either one of the other unfortunately.
Thanks for the great work in keeping this game alive.
You can open the file (...\Steam\steamapps\common\Hitman Contracts\scripts\h3.ini) with Notepad and change the Draw_Distance = 6.0 to a higher value.
But I should warn you that even a small increase will result in a significant FPS drop, no matter what hardware you have. This is because this game has an engine "coded on a knee".
Well, I did not mention in the description about the compatibility of this solution with dgVoodoo2 or ReShade. So yes, some software may be incompatible with this fix.
