hey for some reason the game removed the 'Gamepadmode' i put into the hitmanbloodmoney.ini file, i just added it again and now the right stick works normally again, perhaps you had the same issue, hope this helps.
I am not sure if I need to change a setting, but the UI is not correct in my game. It currently shows Tri for the bottom button which is X and it shows the word Space instead of O/B. The buttons should be Triangle/Y on the top, O/B for the next, and X/A on the bottom. Any help would be appreciated.
Yes, the labels, i understood what you meant, i actually tried to change them long time ago, also it's not me who made the mod, it's just a re-upload with some minor modification that fix it, i don't know who made it

Elimina Dinput.dll, Dinput8.dll, Hitman.cfg, XInput1_3.dll y XInputPlus.ini de la carpeta de tu juego, abre « HitmanBloodMoney.ini » y elimina esta línea: Gamepadmode.
I could allocate the zoom to R Stick button (formerly the 1st/3rd person selector) just accessing the keyboard settings menu, for some reason you can change the controller settings there too, but the names of the controller keys are kinda confuse (they mismatch from their counterparts in the controller) but worked for me... I used a Xbox One controller.
PokerHat, that's great ! I would like to try and see if it works, if it does, i will update the mod and give you credits, is it possible to tell me how you did it ? I use a replicate version of the Xbox 360 controller.
Princeton73, I don't know if the fact I used an original Xbox One controller maked a difference (I don't have another controller to test) but I just initiated the game with the mod installed, acessed the keyboard keys configuration in options, and the controller buttons appeared between the last options of the list, but they appear as PS2 controller buttons somewhat, and that's what I mean with the part I said about being confuse to configurate the controller buttons, took a bit of trial and error to discover their match buttons on the Xbox One controller, I used the keyboard to navigate and selected the ones I wanted to alterate, pressed the buttons of my choice in the controller, saved the alterations and that's it.
fyi for those that are maybe having trouble with this you need to disable steam controller input in the games properties that fixed my right stick and other buttons.
although if im totally honest since this mod does not change the button prompts on screen you will likely still want to use steam input to set up the controls as that will give you more customisation and finer control over sensitivity.
I'm attempting to use this on a steam deck, but I must be missing something because I can't seem to get it to function correctly. The right stick does nothing until I press some key, which itself only activates some mode in which I can only move a stationary camera and watch as my beloved Agent 47 walks away from me. The triggers also move the camera up and down.
i tried installing it but it aint working yet for me what am i doing wrong ? i literally put gamepadmode on the ini file and no options for controller yet not even a working controller yet
