Are you considering making other similar mods for other weapons, such as auto rifles, SMGs, sniper rifles and shotguns? If so for the assault rifles, I do have a suggestion, such as making one of the TAC-4 SA semi-auto rifles loud.
I'm not currently working on any new mods because I've been taking a break from hitman because I got super burned out on the game. So maybe if I get back into it soon I'll start working on those.
That's too bad, though mods and such have helped keep my interest in the WOA (that and it and two other Hitman games are the main ones I currently play a lot of). I do agree with one comment that there's a metallic sound that's nearly as loud as the gunshot itself. But you're on the right track and if not for the mentioned "sound within a sound" I'd say maybe use this as the basis for maybe a potential rifle sound effect mod :)
I also hope you don't give up on this thread. Maybe soon you might find even better pistol shot mods. After all, the silenced pistol mod does hit the spot :)
And also too bad because there's a mod (in addition to the one you referred to in earlier posts) that between them adds nearly every weapon in the game. This got added within the past week, I added it and I love it.
It's kinda hard to describe, but I prefer the more realistic sounding gunshots. The ones here make me think of the gunshots from old Modern Warfare games.
That's a fair point. To be honest in the middle of making the mod I was considering changing the sounds, until I realised they sounded a lot like the sounds from Hitman 2016, and so I decided to keep them as they were. Maybe someday I'll make a more realistic version of this mod, but only time will tell.
