Please use this to make your mod enjoyable to use. I want these emotes from the removed ghost mode, but it's currently inconvenient to use them without them.
Hello, this is the mod I've been waiting for <3 I checked out this mod and I really like it, but I would like to say something about it. 1. Sometimes, for unexplained reasons, despite clicking 47, he does not want to perform any emote, but much more often he performs three emotes, and the fourth 47 does not want to perform for anything in the world. (I tested it for 20 minutes) 2. I checked whether Ghost mode emotes will work in Ghost mode (which can be restored by modem and server). And your mod works halfway there, in the sense that I can do emoticons, etc., but the other player, unfortunately, can't see them. I suspect it's not your fault but the server creator's. Probably had to talk to him or something to fix it. 3. Most importantly, I have it divided into three subcategories: 3A. Would it be possible to hide the information that is visible about these emotes? After all, I know they are, I installed them, and I won't be emoting all the time, so this inscription is annoying as if you wanted to zoom in on the picture. 3B. Wouldn't it be possible to make the emotes activate with one button? For example V? It would be much more convenient and practical. 3C. This option is a bit mixed and off-topic, but interesting. I KNOW it can be done to make it work with one button, because: I downloaded your mod "Live Wardrobe" as an action button I chose the R key then I tested it and it worked great but I accidentally discovered a bug which is what I'm asking for. In such a setting where "Live Wardrobe" it is possible to trigger an error through which the keys from "Live Wardrobe" and from this mod will be CONSTANTLY active in front of us. To trigger this bug you need to have your weapon sheathed, then very quickly, take it out, aim it, fire it, reload it, sheath it and somewhere along the way press R to bring up "Live Wardrobe". I mean, that's more or less how it works, generally it's hard to describe the steps exactly. Interestingly, after triggering the bug, then saving and loading the same game save, the bug will be active. However, redoing the combination (the one described above) will disable this error. And what's even more interesting, this way you can have your weapon out and at the same time have the "Live Wardrobe" menu launched, but then I do not recommend shooting, because the first or second shot will crash the game (turning off the game). For the non-believers, here are two screenshots: Photo1 Photo2 I've written a bit. I hope that one of my two fixes will be implemented. (Of course, I'm counting on the fact that it works with one button.)
Hello, first of all; thank you for the detailed feedback. 1) This mod is just a shortcut the the menu. The menu itself is in-engine meaning I can't modify anything about the menu/emotes itself. 2) I'd +1 on your suspicion that the server author would have to reimplement it. Though I don't know if he can as it might be in-engine again. 3A) Do you by that mean that you want to hide the key you have to press + the text shown when aiming? I think that could be done. 3B) This is possible but the problem is that I can only bind to keys that are already used so e.g. reload. But that would mean reloading would always open the wardrobe too which would be annoying so I won't add that. 3C) I don't think I can fix this. To give a little bit of insight: there's an entity that gives an output when 47 aims or unaims. I then set a true/false value based on these outputs and use that to enable/disable the key prompt. Sometimes the events may be called too quickly possibly creating a data race or something but I can't really do anything about it. Again, thank you very much for your long and descriptive comment on the mod.
I am glad that I was received so well, and I thank you for the mod that restores what was missing, and for the +1 about Ghost Mode. 3A. That's what I meant, I think it would be better then. 3B. I get it, however there is one key that is (by default) disabled, it is the "V" key which rotates the camera, BUT the camera rotation option is disabled by default in the options, so I think that would be the best candidate for interactive keys. Maybe it would be good to add versions of the mod, both in this and in "Live Wardrobe", which has the action set on the "V" key, but does not require zooming the camera. 3C. I understand, but it was interesting to discover it, and to be faster than the game heh. Long and descriptive entries are my specialty =]
I just tried out the suggestion I made and remembered that I already tried it with Live Wardrobe and the way I wanted to hide the prompt doesn't work as it only triggers when the actual action (e.g. reloading) happens and not just when the key is pressed.
