This is a great mod. Makes it so much better to play freelancer. I can't find the Krugermeyer in Wittelton Creek Vault. I shut off the lasers, eben showed it to the "buyer", No gun. Then searched the other houses with basements. No Krugermeyer in Janus house, Bakery house, and not in the command house at the start. So pls a hint, where to find it.
It actually replaces the battleaxe that normally shows once you open the inner vault in Whittleton creek, which requires opening the garage door of the same house, then pressing the front doorbell of the same house 5 times.
Hi there, i've been using this mod for ages and only recently realized you added more options for server shutdowns! I love those and they expand my playthroughs of said maps by usually only a few minutes, which is exactly the right amount of time for them to feel earned, but not cheated... HOWEVER-- I get around 100k on Haven, which is actually a bit much and makes me usually not go for it, because of it feeling too cheaty^^ Now i know that it's optional either way, but i was wondering if you could maybe add an option for Haven to only give half that amount? I get that it's a big server, but it's not really harder to shut down than the others in my opinion... I WANT to go for that extra goal, but it throws off the "economy" by so much^^ Anyway love you byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ❤️
(Also have you considered adding the Chongqing server shutdown? Now THAT'D be a shutdown worth a 100k if that's even a thing in Freelancer lol)
I'm wiping everything and trying again, but at the moment your mod fails to install with the latest SMF. After wiping everything and messing with the mod settings, I determined that all the Servers, Gold Bars, Sgail Necklace, Tokens, and Vault Guns install without errors..
Currently broken are Documents, Coins, Filigree Eggs, Grapes, Gold Idols, and the 1945 Grand Paladin.
Sorry for the false alarm, looks like the nightly build fixed this, latest stable build on github has broken MANY mods.
Can you replace the Sacrificial Knife you find in the secret tunnel in Santa Fortuna with Merces? Sure, you'd need to not replace the Gold Idol in Santa Fortuna to even get it (which i find the merces replacement for the gold idol in Santa Fortuna to be impossible to pick up)
EDIT: I am not sure if the gold idols you can find in crates can be used instead of the 1 you would normally find on the map...
Any chance you'd want to make a version more compatible with Freelancer Variations? There's some things like the Hokkaido server doesn't function during the variations with the original targets dead. Also the game is crashing on the Haven Island loading screen, but I haven't narrowed down which option for certain yet.
Hey! Really enjoying this mod! But when I shut down the server in Haven island, it didn't do anything. Is there an award given that I don't notice? I know it was something in the description of the mod, but I don't quite see anything happen upon shutting down the server
You have to shut down all 4 servers and trigger the 3 owners to the server room to get the reward, it's easier to do if you have a screwdriver so you can break each of the 3 servers after pulling em out so they can't be fixed, allowing you to break the last one at your leisure.
I did it during a showdown, where the lookouts and suspects were everywhere except the server room. They didn't run when i triggered it. (network tried escaping when i failed to run from a lookout, but i managed to get the leader at the time)
Just want to point out, if you replace the necklace at isle of sgail, the merces are illegal to grab, unless you disguise as Blake Nathaniel, just like the necklace.
I'm not sure if this was intended or not, but in Mendoza I got the 1945 Grand Paladin replaced by Merces in Story Mode. And had to restart a whole run. You should probably leave a warning somewhere that these changes also affect maps outside or Freelancer.

I'm playing with Freelancer variations and thought that was the cause
I just use both, it works on pretty much all maps as far as i can tell
