Hi there, i think the Undying update broke the no timed objectives prestige objectives^^ It still cuts them out, but doesn't actually removed them anymore, so sometimes i get to the prestige screen and can only choose 1 or 2 objectives, with some missing entirely. (I ASSUME it's your mod since it's the only one i have that's fucking around with the objectives lol) Anyway, not here to complain, just pointing it out! I'm sure updates can be a hassle to modders^^
https://imgur.com/a/0lAY0Ph (sorry for the pause tint overlay) EDIT: Picking the empty ones play the animation, but nothing happens btw
Can you please revert the Perfect Run change. It doesn't work. I updated to the new version 1.9.0 and it breaks the prestige objectives choice. All 3 choices become Perfect Run. I went back to the 1.8.2 and it works fine again.
That's odd, I haven't seen this bug and no one else has reported it. Can you post your full mod list in the order that you have them listed in Simple Mod Framework?
Having this same issue. I have the timed and SA prestiges disabled. Worked fine for the first few missions, then when I get to the showdown mission (not sure if related) every button says perfect run but pressing them does not add the objective.
Hey nortonbates and @UserOfMagic, I've made a small update to Filter Prestige Objectives so that you now have additional options which remove the Perfect Run objectives. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you still hit issues.
So far, no problems with the new update. Would like to see a version that does have Perfect Run working, but this is great. Thanks! For all I know, it's a load order issue, since so few have had it. No biggie.
hi, same issue, if I leave perfect run enabled, it occupies all 3 prestige objectives. I have to filter it out to get it to work. is there a way to have perfect run without breaking the prestige objectives? thanks
Unfortunately, I haven't seen this issue myself, and aside from support for critical mod-breaking issues I can't dedicate much time to modding right now. If I studied the game files enough, I might be able to see a dependency that's getting messed up, but that probably won't happen anytime soon. Sorry. =(
Thanks for the update. Seems odd IOI didn't mention in the patch notes that they re-added the Perfect Run prestige objective. I wonder if they were worried it was still broken.
Something I noticed in your description for Unlocked Loadouts: the part about an unlockable Subject 47 can be deleted.
Dude could you please make ICA facility unrestricted, too , its my only issue with this mod. I am begging you, the only mod that did this was offline mode enhanced + custom missions pack but thats not working anymore please bro
Yeah, also real quick could you make the sniper assasin maps unrestricted, if not, then could you make the outfit unrestricted, and if you can, make each map separate options, thanks.
Just in case Baldy doesn't come back, here's how to fix the "Filter Prestige Objectives" part of the mod. I would post my own version that does have the fixes, but the permissions don't allow it, unless I ask permission.
In order to fix it, in the zip, you will need to remove certain lines from 3 files, only 1 file if you only want to use that one option, or all 3 files if you want to be able to freely choose.
First, unpack the latest zip somewhere, then depending on which one you want to use, you will need to do the following:
For the No timed objectives, you need to remove the lines 146-150 in Baldy's Tweaks\content\prestige_objs\notimed\chunk29\notimed.entity.patch.json For the No Silent Assassin objectives, you need to remove the lines 156-160 in Baldy's Tweaks\content\prestige_objs\nosa\chunk29\nosa.entity.patch.json For the No SA or timed objectives, you need to remove the lines 131-135 in Baldy's Tweaks\content\prestige_objs\nosa_notimed\chunk29\nosa_notimed.entity.patch.json
After doing the fixes, you will need to put the "Baldy's Tweaks" folder (with the manifest.json file inside it) back into the zip, then add it to SMF (I always removed the previous version from SMF before adding, so I don't know if it will complain if it already exists) then you should be able to add it to the list and redeploy.
Thank you, this did fix it for me as well. I tried poking around in the hashes but IOI seems to have mixed apples and oranges in this area, so it wasn't clear what to tweak.
I noticed you said you'd like you post your own version. I've wanted to remove this module from the QoL bundle for a while. Would you like to release your own standalone Filter Prestige Objectives mod? You can use the files under "Baldys Tweaks/content/prestige_objs" as a starting point if you'd like - I give you permission to re-release and modify those three files if you'd like. (Just please have a line someone on the mod's description page providing me attribution. Nothing fancy.)
I can't for the life of me get this to work. I'm using Notepad++ to remove the lines for the nosa_timed json, but when I try to add the edited zip to SMF it says there is a problem with the json I've edited.
Edit: Nevermind, I removed the last ref entry and it worked for me. Cheers!
@harkanoldhoodlum I updated the mod with the fix on September 9th. Were you running into issues after re-downloading it, or were you using an older version?
