    For anyone struggling and realising that Simple Mod Framework no longer seems to accept this mod, follow these steps:

    • Download this mod.
    • Extract this mod anywhere, like your desktop for example.
    • Open the "Snap Necks" folder.
    • Open the "manifest.json" file with a text editor, preferably Notepad++ or VS Code.
    • Edit the line <"contentFolders": "content"> to <"contentFolders": ["content"]> and save the file.

    • Zip the "Snap Necks" folder up and call the zip whatever you want but I like to name it similarly to the original mod.
    • Use SMF to import your zipped folder.
    This won't fix the
    Mod Hitman 2 Snap Neck Sound is designed for an older version of the framework and is likely incompatible!
    error, but at least it fixes the SMF recognition issue.

      It's still not recognized as a SMF mod. I have a screenshot to show, but there is no option to upload it here.

      Here:

       "frameworkVersion": "2.33.21",
          "contentFolder": ["content"]

    This no longer appears to work now, and randomly plays when you punch someone.

    Thank you veeeery much FFF!!! Sometimes after work I go for the kill everyone way of completion to rest my mind, but this sound was missing in HITMAN 3 A LOT. Thank you thank you! If you would like to get any cash reward just send me the info, I'll be glad to do send it! Also big thanks to SimpleModManager project and to AceJackson69420 for the information below. One remark from me - after the steps told by AceJackson, I had to reopen SMM (of course) and then there was a button to make it "compatible with this version of SMM" and then I had to APPLY. I used it for the first time so maybe it is nothing new for everyone else, but just to make the process complete for anyone new as me.
    Thank you! Going to snap the necks and throw them over the balconies now!

      if you have simple mod framework installed you should have the folder in your Hitman3 folder, and a mods folder in the simple mod framework folder. I downloaded the file from the websire then went to downloads and right clicked and pressed 'extract files...'. I then clicked on Hitman3 (assuming you already know where your game is in the files) then simple mod framework and then mods. Then you can load up simple mod framework and enable it. Idk why you can't just do it through the mod framework but this is the way i managed to do it

    Could the mod be updated to lower the snap's volume? It can be distractingly loud sometimes and I'm not sure if that's intentional or not.
