Great mod but it unfortunately breaks the sniper assassin gamemode because snipers can't slow down time anymore and they have less impact :p maybe there would be a way to add an exception just for this gamemode ? Because i like the reduced impact in normal gameplay, cheers, mate
Hi. I know that you worked on a mod that also includes this mod as part of it, but I like using this stand alone version. Really cool mod BTW. But I do have a couple of suggestions (or maybe you can make them into a mod or mods themselves? Which ever you prefer). One is maybe a way to edit the damage certain weapons do (or maybe each weapon) as far as damage done when you shoot an enemy in the torso to account for different weapon power and abilities (like one shot for rifles (sniper or assault), 2 for .45 pistols, 3 for SMGs and 9mm pistols, 4 for the pocket type pistols, etc).
Second is maybe a way to make assault rifles and SMGs select fire, by which I mean you can (when activating the mod in SMF), you can select full auto or semi-auto operation.
I'd also consider using the Project Realism mod if certain things could be deactivated per user preference. But I've used a couple of your mods and you've done cool work. Keep it up :)
Other guy seems to be correct, even offline it does not work post-update for SMF 2.0. Unless I'm doing something wrong on installation / launch, damage is same. Is this new project your working on a combination of all your projects for a hardcore Hitman experience? I'd love to install it if it is that and understand if you cannot fix the current Realistic Gunfights mod.
I changed a lot of things to make the game a little more realistic (weapons are more deadly even at long ranges, less sound/visual help, targets are not showed on map, instinct and minimap disabled, minimal HUD stuff for a more immersive experience, some big items can't be magically hidden anymore, no more cartoony weapon physics, etc...).
Is the ICA19 Classicballer not affected by this mod? Still takes two shots to kill at close range when playing offline the entire time, while every other pistol is one-shot kill at everything but long range.
Feels like a more "universal" approach would be to just reduce how much max health everyone has instead, so they die in 1-2 shots. I've never modded Hitman 3, though.
Hi I'm investigating the issue. ICA19 Classicballer works well for me (one shot to kill at close range). Maybe the last update broke some mods. Try re-enabling the mods with Simple Mod Framework. Please tell me if it works. Cheers.
I like how this makes all guns have a 4x DMG multiplier (one hit kill at close range, two hit kill at long range). It really cuts down on how bullet-spongey and frustrating the combat in vanilla Hitman 3 is, especially with how inaccurate the guns are! Absolutely essential mod, thank you for making this.
