Darn looks like Simple Mod Framework doesn't work despite having 3.150.1 which should be the latest version from Steam. Is there an alternate way to install the mod?
I really love this mod. Is there any chance it could be expanded to remove the audio cue too? Or is there a way to disable it in game? It's really noticeable even without the hitmarker.
Are you talking about that weird audio cue when you headshot someone? I have a mod to disable it. I'm not sure if it still works because I haven't played this game recently. Credit to "nop" from the hitman forums, I could try sharing the file with you, but I don't want to upload someone elses work to Nexus.
For posterity, here is how "nop" said he created it: there is a file in the Notex rpkg tool rpkg_command_JSON_examples\rpkg_command-silence_H3_new_AI_killshot_sounds.JSON you copy that and the blank.wem file to the same directory as rpkg.exe and then drag and drop the JSON file onto the rpkg.exe in Windows explorer, and it will create the ‘loud ping’ silencing mod for you
I don't know if this mod is still being maintained, but since the latest update I can't get it working- reinstalled and updated modloader, playing in offline mode nothing. This is literally the only mod I run or want, so it's frustrating. Any ideas?
