One of the things that extremely bothered me was the whistling. It completely ruined the immersion for me. It ended up feeling more like i'm training instead of enjoying the game. With this mod (and it works), you've made me slowly fall in love with the new trilogy.

I just want to give people options when the game doesn't. This mod was a request and you never know if someone would like the same thing, so that's why I posted it.
The trilogy sound design is OVER DONE to the point of fucking absurdity. Not just sound BUT ALL indicators are too much. Wooshing sound/NPC shoots/NPC talks/NPC chases ME/Visible detection meter/PIP window/Kill sound/Visual black and white fx/Camera grid/Red cross hair/Instinct/Vital info/Mini Map. I count 13 and likely forgot something.
No need for wooshing when I can SEE/HEAR the NPC! Kill sound?! Cos I can't see the thing I just did? I've only gotta complete Hitman 1 as “Silent Assassin” and I've done ALL levels without HUD! Without instinct and without being told every 4 seconds that there MIGHT be a threat. The wooshing sound is buggy AF and goes off when NO NPC are near or can SEE me and I hate it.
How many times must you be told you shot an NPC? You must be blind and deaf and dumb AF. What makes me mad is the devs KNOW this! and yet CHOSE to draw a line where they think YOU NEED these effects but you can turn off other things.
This games screen is full of text, the button prompts are DEAD centre in the middle of action. I love these games! and I can see the faults and if you like them then why are you here?
This trilogy would be a masterpiece if the devs gave a s#*! to do it right.
Suppose you LOVE the fact the online aspect of the game used to be OFFLINE too? Can't improve stats without their server being ONLINE! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Your mod works on the WHOLE trilogy via the 3rd game! f*#@ YESSSS! Was looking for HM1 mod for same (got HM2 mod) but then tested HM1 & HM2 via the 3rd game and ALL the trilogy now have no wooshing sound. I FUCKING LOVE THIS! Great job, mate. Maybe tell peeps this great fact? if you didn't and I missed it cos I was looking for what I already had. Can you do Absolution? COuld you make Absolution HUDless BUT with reticle? There's a mod for that with NO reticle, BUT I can't shoot shit.
