Complete Strike Group cruisers replacement pack! Replace weak and exploitable standart cruisers with bigger and stronger new ones. Designs are made for the 1.16 version, their performance on older versions is untested. This pack also includes replacements for the Tarantul and Eagle ships.

Rust and Dust: Strike Group cruiser replacement pack
Complete replacement of all cruisers you can see in Strike Groups plus Tarantul and Eagle corvettes
The main idea behind this replacement pack is to force the player to use cruisers instead of heavy fregates by increasing the firepower needed to destroy most of the Strike Group ships and making it harder or sometimes impossible to dodge all the shots and missiles. This pack also increases Strike Groups's tactical potential by adding larger aircraft and missile carriers, so the palyer needs to come up with newer tactics of approaching and protecting themselves from Strike Groups rather than spamming with proximity fuse rounds
- All the designes were made for 1.16 version. Their performance on 1.15 and older versions is untested
- This pack is only recommended for experienced players who are familliar with all core mechanics of the game
- All designs are fully vanilla, no mods or exploits used
Replaced designes list and descriptions
- Borey. Replaced with a simple yet better protected cruiser with 3 Mk-1-180 cannons
- Gryphon. Replaced with a bigger cruiser protected by lots of "Palash" APS modules. Has 4 Mk-1-180 cannons
- Negev. Replaced with a heavy nomad-like cruiser armed with 6 "Molot" cannons
- Kormoran. Replaced with an even heavier nomad-like cruiser protected by several "Palash" APS modules and armed with 8 "Molot" cannons
- Nomad. Replaced with a giant Varyag-like flagship cruiser, protected by multiple layers of armor, "Palash" APS and armed with 5 "Molots" and one "Squall"
- Nomad Mk2. Replced with a Varyag-like cruiser, similar to what did Nomad get, except this is an aircraft carrier now and the "Squall" cannon got replaced with several "Sarmats"
- Tarantul (Standart and ARM). Replaced with an armoured light cruiser, carrying 6 strategic missiles. Has 2 Mk-1-180s
- Eagle. Replaced with a heavy frigate, carrying 12 "Zenith" missiles and armed with 4 "Molots"
