A question I have for everyone who has been enjoying the unique models. Should I post a separate mod for the red haven heros? Or should I just add them here?
and second, should I work on creating alternate unique models for some of the heros?
Your heroes for the vanilla game work fine with version 1.31 of Tribes of the East, but unfortunately this expansion pack of the Orcs/Stronghold faction doesn't include the Haven/Human misisons.
If I wanted to use your Irina Human hero in the Haven campaign it's not possible because this campaign isn't part of the expansion.
I did try your mod for the original game but the version there is 1.63 I believe, or 1.61 - they all end up invisible in both the campaign and in skirmishes.
In Tribes of the East they did work fine in skirmishes, and would probably be fine in the campaign if the campaign was available.
I also tried your 5.5 version of the heroes on the 2023 version - 5.66c - and it had no effect.
It would be awesome if the mod could be updated for the vanilla campaigns at least, this would mean the original games campaign, and the Dwarven campaign - it's much more immersive with your heroes.
The 5.5+ mod has all the campaigns in one game which I love, but sadly the heroes didn't work there neither.
Do you have any guide on how to update your models for a specific version?
I also would like to replace the Isabel model with your Irina model and portrait if possible.
Hello, if you want to use these models for the base game maps, then you will need to download my other mod Base Game Maps for TOE, this will unlock all of the base game campaign maps as well as the hammers of fate expansion in Tribes of the East.
As for changing Isabel's model to Irina, it can be done but it will take some fiddling with the files to get it to work, and it would only affect the campaign maps, not the cutscenes. You would need to unpack the data.pak in the installation folder, then go to MapObjects/Haven and find the file Isabell.(AdvMapHeroShared).xdb , from there you would change these two lines <Model href="/Characters/Heroes/Isabel_LOD.xdb#xpointer(/Model)"/> <AnimSet href="/Characters/Heroes/Isabel_LOD-adv.xdb#xpointer(/AnimSet)"/> to these two lines <Model href="/Character/Heroes/Irina/OrnellaHaven_mounted.xdb#xpointer(/Model)"/> <AnimSet href="/Character/Heroes/Irina/OrnellaHaven_mounted-arena.xdb#xpointer(/AnimSet)"/> and then these lines <HeroCharacterArena href="/Characters/Heroes/Isabel.(Character).xdb#xpointer(/Character)"/> <HeroCharacterArenaMelee href="/Characters/Heroes/Isabel_strike.(Character).xdb#xpointer(/Character)"/> <HeroCharacterAdventure href="/Characters/Heroes/Isabel_LOD.(Character).xdb#xpointer(/Character)"/> <HeroIndividualCamera/> <CombatVisual href="/GameMechanics/CreatureVisual/Heroes/Knight.xdb#xpointer(/CreatureVisual)"/>

Hey man. The mod is fantastic unfortunately it seems some models are not working (that is are not replaced, like Nur). Any chances that there is a work-around it or this mod will be ever updated?
I followed the instructions, but the models are still the same.
Can you help? This is exactly what I did:
Downloaded the file, took the h5u items out of the zip folder, then placed them all in the UserMODs folder. It didn't work - so I deleted those and placed the entire folder into the UserMODs folder and it still doesn't work.
I'm using HMM5.5 and I downloaded the compatable version
