Maybe my ears deceive me, but when it comes to the 120mm barrage, the older version has more "punch" to it, whereas the newer has better ambient sound/sound propagation. Moreover, the newer version sounds, to me at least, like the SFX of each individual shell is clipping one another; like it's looping the same audio source but the previous iteration/previous shell's hasn't finished playing, which is something I haven't noticed in the older version.
If you could, somehow, combine the best of both, I think it'd be absolute gold.
Been testing some mods with the latest update. Seems like this one still works just fine, but a hotfix would be nice to ensure that it works correctly.
Hello. I wanted to drop by and say that I really enjoy the mod. I'm not sure if you're planning on it, but it'd be nice if you gave the walking barrage a similar sound redesign as the 380.
Also, I found a small mod conflict. For some reason, this mod interferes with the Heavy Units Remastered mod in regards to the Harvester sounds.
Sorry, I can't do it. Walking barrage and 380 are exactly the same sound file and cannot be replaced separately. If you find module conflicts, you can try changing patch_0 in the file name to patch_1
it conflicts due to mods added before the illuminate were released. new sounds like the harvester are added and this mod will need an update from the creator for them to work. basically any mod that changes stratagem noises that are slightly outdated break it
also,could you update the mod in some way to make it up to date? that way it wont break other sound mods
Although i wish the 120mm explosion sound fx didnt get interrupted by the next explosion. When a bomb falls, the explosion sfx mutes itself the moment the next bomb falls.
