Sorry, I didn't understand how to use this mod even after reading the instructions, I've already put the mod file in the game folder, but what to do with the subsequent launch? I don't know English, so I may not understand the instructions very well, if the author sees it, I hope to answer, thank you.
Thank you very much for your reply, I can use the translator to understand your English, I have downloaded your mod file and put it in the folder of the game, but I don't know what reshade is, is he the precursor to this mod, if there is a download link, thank you
yes so reshade is what you will need to run my file! i will link this website to you, download it and install accordingly! if you can find a reshade install tutorial which is in your native language that also may help you a lot! this is the link https://reshade.me/
Mod is great, however, full white night vision not full screen. It is just a small box area center of screen. As well as is there a way for teammates and enemies to be highlighted white also like our own character? Can't see much with that affect. The standard ODST "green-night" vision works wonderful. Thanks.
Mostly true, can't make it highlight enemies and whatnot, BUT if you remove the TV Border option that gets toggled when activating it with M, you get a full screen rather than the tiny box.
Any chance you could share the issue you had and how you resolved it? I get a bunch of "failed to compile" errors when I add the ini presets and the reshade-shaders folder.
EDIT: Never mind, I think it was working the whole time. I just didn't realize that because I saw that ReShade throws a bunch of compiling issues and never bothered to toggle with N. Seems to work despite all of the errors.
For those struggling to find ReShade 6.3.3, you can find it along with all other ReShade versions here: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/8ar1jhh1809cl/ReShade_Repository
NOTE: This is a user-made repo on Mediafire. That being said, the user publicly announced its creation on the ReShade forums here: https://reshade.me/forum/general-discussion/294-reshade-repository and ReShade's developer commented on the post giving it their blessing.
Is there a way to combine it with the "Hide capes - March update" reshade? I'd really like to have the visor thing for my ODST mods, but I'd also love to not have to deal with a pesky cape at the same time.
does the NVG effect only work in low light/low visibility conditions? i've tried it in normal matches without any weather and all it seems to do is just apply chromatic aberration to the screen and nothing else
the NVG isn't insanely bright, as i wanted to keep it usable during day conditions like the VISR in halo 3 ODST, it should generally brighten everything a bit, give the abberation, green tint, and outlines. if you provided more screenshots in low light i could tell you if it is functioning 100%
Does it require 6.3.3 and no newer version? I did step by step and dropped the folder and 2 ini files in the bin directory, it over wrote 13 files in reshade. I hopped into HD2 and cant find anything like SUPAKOOL or Koolbrewor even ODST in the reshade menu. Im missing something I know it, just dont know what.
