Any chance you could do a version that also removes the black piece on the nose of the helmet? Based on the way it's shaped, it looks like that was intended to be part of the bug-eye visor as well, not the base helmet.

I respect it, it looks great too. I hate to ask but I gotta, since you are the only person I've seen change this helmet. Would it be possible for you to make another mod re-texturing the colors to match the Legionnaire armor? The green on the back is just so off putting on it for me. But that's cause I don't use any of the medic green armors.

Retextures require Photoshop, which I am too poor to own, because they use a palette texture saved in a very specific DDS format that no other program can do (believe me, I tried).

It's possible if you use Mentor's Armory and Blender. Mentor's Armory is a .blend file of armors + helmets that someone put together to make it easy to edit the colors in a way that keeps the texture and UV map.

I've actually made some amazing custom helmet designs for the 101st Battalion using this file.

Impressive, very nice. Now lets see you remove the green stripe from the back.

fixed it, problem was that the first part of the file names of the patches you have in the folders do not follow the naming convention of the normal patches so when numbered correctly they dont replace any patches that share the same number and therefore dont function. example for copy pasta for anyone else below, just rename and change the file patch number to whatever newest patch you need like the instructions say in the description:

      9ba626afa44a3aa3.patch_0
      9ba626afa44a3aa3.patch_0.gpu_resources
      9ba626afa44a3aa3.patch_0.stream
