*UPDATE* - File now compatible with recent patch - *UPDATE* GDI Soldier V 1.1.0 is now out!
Replaced S.E.A.F. Soldier with GDI Soldier (Complete with LOD's for performance)
Added support for replacing PH-9 Predator
Added support for replacing PH-56 Jaguar
Added support for replacing PH-202 Twigsnapper
Added new color variant: Imperial
For a while now folks have requested replacing one of the Predator armors. I couldn't really settle on what one to replace, so, all three with Peak Physique get replaced :). Additionally, it's been requested for the S.E.A.F. soldier to be replaced. Took some figuring out but was pretty easy once I figured it out. Finally, and I had this idea for the Nod Soldier but never got it looking right, created a stormtrooper inspired color variant called Imperial. Medic used to be my favorite, and now I think I'm going to rock this one for a bit!
There has been a request for another emissive color variant of the helldiver helmet that I had intended to apply, but didn't get around to it. I might provide this in the future as a separate file but unsure how popular it would end up being. We'll see what happens.
Hope folks dig the updates, and as always, I greatly appreciate everyone's support and excitement over these mods :)
This is not a bug and simply how armors in Helldivers 2 work. There are several armors that have issues like this simply because most armors share geometry with other armors
Think it would be possible to replace the Cinderblock as well? That would fill out the entire Siege-Ready family (and would give those who don't have that warbond access to both this armor and Siege-Ready (I don't have a bias I promise))
No clue how much work it would take, but would it be possible to add a feature to choose the color for SEAF soldiers specifically? I really, REALLY like the armor and it fits the SEAF guys really well, but I don't like how they're all Helldiver colored since I assume it takes the colors from the picker. Along with that, if you're up for taking color suggestions it would be cool to have the default GDI tan and Spartan green but with SEAF iconography and patches with hints of blue.
hmm. I wonder if this would be worth a separate file. I'll consider it. The main reason I didn't is simply because it'll bloat file size. Thanks for the suggestion here!
Could have it as a separate download instead to prevent each files from being bloated. We don't see a lot of SEAF mods surprisingly and this is one of my favorites and must-have downloads. Would be cool to see it become a standalone mod in the future.
It'll bloat file size because I'll have to save out new materials, which means resaving all those textures a second time. So while the files will be separate, if you want both armor replacements and seaf replacements, you'll end up doubling up on the same textures unfortunately
Would it be at all possible to get one of these as a replacer for the CE-81 Juggernaut? I absolutely love using Engineer Kit and barely anyone makes armour for the EK armours
I'll consider this as a future armor to support. While how I'm managing these files makes it so much easier to patch when Arrowhead has an update that breaks mods, I'm replacing so many armors now that it's taking ~1-2 hours to re-export everything. More armors is going to make that more tedious haha. We'll see, but no promises
Mainly tugging at me with that last line. I'll give it some thoughts
While I haven't had a chance to look, I'm hearing today's patch broke mesh replacement mods again I'm aware, but I'm at work :) I'll fix these up tonight and worst case scenario they will be updated by tomorrow!
In the past I've always tried to include some kind of goodie/update when these happen. Unfortunately I don't think I have anything prepared, so it will just be a patch fix

With your mod (brawny body type) :
Without your mod the brawny body type have a normal texture like the lean body type :
love the GDI in C&C, now i can take a break from clearing tiberium and kill some enemies of humanity..
now, to get the tech level to deploy zone troopers...
thank you
I'd like to have them using this armor mod with SEAF colors and then myself using the Medic colors since I run the med-kit armor mainly.
