Could this armor replace the Cinderblock Armor? Or CM-09 Bonesnapper? I find Siege-Ready and Med-Kit to just be much more reliable passives, and I already mix the Kodiak Helm with it... and a lot of people already use the CE-27... kinda want to be the ONLY one running around looking cool in a group cuz nobody I play with uses Cinderblock :)
I've put together a Bonesnapper swap and slapped it in the files, and while I did compile a Cinderblock swap I haven't been able to test it myself since I don't have the armor yet. Once I do, though, I'll give it some attention.
Took a few days for the Superstore to come around, and it looks like the Cinderblock swap is more or less fine so it's been added to the optional files.
ended up giving it some more attention in the multipack and bringing back the sword versus rib option for the legs; might need to load it after the helmets to prevent the pink helmet glitch though
gave it a shot but i've been having issues getting all the different pieces to swap out properly on the trench engineer, so it didn't make it into the new swap pack
Looks like something a victorious Imperial Japan would design. It looks absolutely evil and powerful, especially the white and red one. I dig it. Downloaded and endorsed. Thank you for the mod my dude.
armor looks sick! not sure if you are taking requests but would love to see this in CW9 winter wolf and I92 fire fighter as they share assets with CE27 and we will have 1 option for each armor option and 3 passives
i gave up on the early attempts because they kept crashing me in the menu, but the recent community modtool update specifically made it easier to swap stuff out so i'll be giving it another shot and hopefully it works out
came out of testing with eleven swaps that seemed to have good schemes, and have put together a multipack that should allow people to choose what they want; beyond that, the helmet should be compatible with any LUT/color scheme edits applied to the affected armors since it uses vanilla materials, but i haven't figured out how to make my own LUT edits at this time
sounds like the issue i was having during testing and unfortunately i'm still not sure why it was happening or why it stopped; if i run into it again i'll see if i can fix it, and if so i'll put an update out
I did in fact run into the bug again and had to wrangle it down, but I think I've fixed it this time. It ballooned the file size from about eight megabytes to 29, but by bundling the Kodiak's material with every single patch option it should prevent missing heads, pink materials, and random crashes. The new file's posted, hope it works out this time.
from the little i've heard it sounds like the normal mod manager has trouble installing it, so until i fix that you'd probably have to install it manually
Think I've fixed it, new file worked when I ran it on Mod Manager; the issue seemed to be that Arsenal added an 'options' field that I didn't end up using, and since the options were declared but empty, Mod Manager skipped on installing anything.
