Lasers for kinetic weapons may appear better or worse depending on the planet's conditions your are on
The May update brought new muzzle attachments that have their own muzzle flash particle files. I thought I hunted all of them down but I missed 1 or 2 that will be fixed in the next update
The Anti-Material rifle’s impact effect is orange/yellow
The pelican’s muzzle has a white/yellowish color
Missile launchers may sometimes have a white/yellowish fire on their backside
Automatons sometimes catch on fire with blue effects despite not being hit by a laser/bullet
The PLAS weapons share effects with the Illuminate plasma effects
The PLAS weapons bolt impact effects remain blueish/purple
The Shield backpack's effects when something impacts the shield bubble are slightly yellow
Shield generator's shield cannot currently be recolored
The base of the Shield Generator has blue electricity due to shared effects with the Shield Backpack. Out
Laser impact effects for the Orbital Laser, Scythe, Dagger, Laser Guard Dog, and Laser Cannon sometimes have a yellowish glow.
One of the best mods to give Helldivers 2 a sci-fi feel it really makes every weapon feel like a laser weapon.
Some cool ideas to play around with in the future is changing the color of enemy projectile weapons, such as illuminate and automatons, but also having multiple colors.
Like maybe most automatons have red lasers, but maybe the heavy devastators or gun-ships have green lasers instead? I'm not sure how possible it is to have multiple laser colors within the same faction, but I think it could be some really nice variety to see like 3 or 4 different colors in a fire fight. Even better if you can change these settings in the mod manager.
the PLAS ones seem to also change the red tracers of machine guns and near empty mag tracers for them, although i install mods manually if that's a problem.
Do you think it's possible to change the color of the flamethrowers' fire? Would be neat to have blue flames, although I cant help but wonder if that would change ALL sources of fire in the game too.
Do you have any plans on making this mod a bit more targeted? Like maybe a toggle option within the mod manager on what weapons you want to have the recolor? I love the blue for all the laser stuff, but I would like to have the kinetic weapons left alone in regards to the re-color.
