Important Update: - I will keep thing short in here because I want to save as much as time as possible to shipout SFX fixes and build a solution for the audio tool to prevent this type of massive break in the audio modding community. - If you're using the latest version (i.e., the version that fixes issue caused by the AH update on Feb 4th, 2025) of any of my SFX overhaul, and you're still having issues with it, it most likely that you have other SFX mods from other authors who haven't re-patched their SFX mods to handle the recent update. - All missing SFX mods or SFX variant that exist in the older version will come back. It's matter of time. I want to keep the same quality as the recent SFX mod I made with the mixing technique I learn recently and new audio modding workflow I discovered. - All sentry SFX mods will migrate to Kaiser enhanced sentry SFX collection so that there's a common place for folks to look and choose sentry SFX.

holly s#*! that guard dog video is nice, ill try it... is it a solo sound file or it will change the sound for other weapon also? i know the scyth mods also change the guard dog sound
I love the sound of the HMG (emplacement) on the Squad (release) is there a way to have that on the regular HMG too? That sounds a bit underhelming by comparison
After some testing, figured out that this mod conflicts with any other SFX mod that alters the sound for the JAR-5 Dominator. Regardless of mod load order, running the HMG SFX Overhaul will revert the Dominator to vanilla SFX. Don't know if this can be fixed or worked around, but figured I'd just share what I learned.
I just tried the new LMG sounds, it seems like the new sounds have a lot louder ECHOES compared to the previous version, in comparison to the HMG sounds, which is a little weird I ain't gonna lie xD.
I think the louder echoes for the new version of LMG sounds does make it a little hard to play with in the long terms, so I switched back to the older version. Just for consideration's sake, perhaps you could tone down the echoes?

silly me, but can anyone give me an idea which sound of the six options I need to select to only replace the HMG sound? (using HMG standard model from HD2)
You're only supposed to have one option selected and it'll replace both the handheld HMG strategem and also the mounted HMG on the FRV vehicle. If you have multiple selected, then the bottom-most option will be used. You'll have to compare sounds in the author's uploaded videos, but you're better off opening them in the YouTube site since the author has info in some video descriptions (but not all) as to what audio goes to which option in the mod files and that doesn't show up in the embedded video here, unfortunately. It's a little janky, I know.
