This mod either conflicts with some other mod of mine or is broken. Froggy is clipping into quite a few heavy armor sets. This happens with brawny and lean body types btw.
Yeah, I had mentioned that in the description of the mod. Personally I don't know how to fix it and can't ask for help because I literally can't access the modding discord to ask for help. I'm sorry for the error, and if I do find a way to fix it I will ASAP. (This is also my first armor mod... and first mod ever)
Any particular reason you cant access the modding Discord? Should i maybe make a help request there on your behalf? I would really like this mod to work :)
I can't access help from the modding discord because of the phone number verification check... I don't have a phone so I'm kinda just stuck. It doesn't let you interact with the server at all without one. If you can find a way or make a help request for me to be able to interact with the server for help it would be greatly appreciated.
Ok, so i havent gotten into touch with a mod or anythings, but i found a section in the faq which reads the following:
How come this armor mod has modded parts on some other armors? How can I only have it on the specified armor set? Helldivers 2 has shared assets throughout the game. We cannot change how the base game handles shared armor sets so we cannot fix this. This situation also applies to any weapon attachments that are shared.
I suspect this applies to the officer too, so we might be out of luck here. Especially since i cant find any other mods which replace this model...
I had originally thought this was the case, and I think I've come to the conclusion to agree with your statement; I think we're out of luck. I tried various different solutions. I changed which armor piece Froggy replaced, changed what model version I was affecting, changed how I was removing the other limbs, all to no avail (And some funny results if I do say so myself). I also found a mod that also replaces the Democracy Officer, and it just didn't work entirely. I don't think there is a way to change the Democracy officer's model without some drawbacks.
I do have another mod in the mix that'll hopefully make up for this one's short-comings. The issue with that one is that there is essentially no information on how to pull it off besides one image of it being done, and a post saying very cryptically how to do it. But here is a video of the model for your troubles. (She changes sprites depending on where you look at her)

But yeah... i think ill still keep froggy around for now, i dont use those heavy armors that much anyway. :P
And btw, I got into contact with a discord mod and they say if you still want you can pm me your discord name/id, they will verify you manually for the modding discord :)
I really wish there would be good looking lore accurate female models for helldivers 2, so it could pair well with democracy officer female voice replacement.
