So when Helldivers 2 or any game that has mods in the files or anything, everything is removed and when the game is reinstalled, everything is reset to its previous state.
Hello dude, if in the direct x control panel value I set 9_1 (as you said, the lower the value, the more profit) but the CPU is still loaded at 100%. Are there any other ways to reduce the load on the CPU? Or is there nothing I can do?
Sorry, it may be a bit of a stupid question but how do I find the file in regedit? I tried searching the name of the file on it and found nothing so I don't know what else to search
Installed this config, but I didn't notice any improvement in framerate, noticeably my destroyer isnt fullbright like in your screenshot, so I'm not sure if the config is working or if I've done something wrong. The file on Nexus is captioned with "enabled async by default", yet when I went ingame that setting was disabled, could it be possible that the game is ignoring the config file and running on the default/game-recommended settings?
I'm 70% sure my system is below min spec for the game, and before installing this config I averaged ~30fps in destroyer and ~20fps in mission. with the config, I averaged ~40fps in destroyer and ~20fps in mission.
AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Integrated Graphics GTX 1650 4GB 8GB RAM (but more like 6GB because of ryzen's iGPU using 2GB for.. some reason)
Starting the game prompts me to fill out stuff like brightness, audio, etc. from when you first play the game, but I assume that's expected when the file is Read-Only
Apologies if this is solved by something incredibly obvious or if I sound like a madman/incoherent.
If starting the game prompts you to fill out first setup setting it means your config is getting ignored for some reason, usually its wrong value for setting or setting that is not recognized by engine. I will reupload same config with async disabled now since after some feedback it seems to impact performance very negatively on old cpus (which i assume main users of this mod to have). Also uploaded new screenshots that more accurately represent how 2.0 config will look.
