We're gonna keep fixing things when arrowhead breaks things or adds new content that breaks compatibility. We don't have any concrete plans as of yet.
As of right now, I'd recommend checking out some other mods with similar goals such as: This one!
Disappoint chaosdivers by telling them we're not doing Make It Red.
Quick FAQ:
Q: Why do the helmets with Glow look strange in the armory or in loadout select?
A: Helldivers 2 doesn't apply bloom in those parts of the game. If they don't look correct when in a mission or on your superdestroyer, turn bloom ON in the game settings.
Q: Are you guys gonna do [Thing that's not currently Yellow]?
A: Yes! Here at Make It Yellow, we will (in due time), Make It Yellow. You don't need to ask, because it WILL happen. (probably)
If you're suffering from any general HD2 Mod Manager weirdness: To fix this, re-open Mod Manager and go into settings. Copy the HD2ModManager storage directory's file location, and paste it into the top bar of file explorer. Find and delete the unwanted instance(s) of MIY inside that directory.
To prevent this from happening.
When removing MIY, uncheck the mod(s), deploy, then remove the mods. (This works for me most of the time.)
It may still happen occasionally, even if you follow these steps. This is unfortunately a known issue with the Mod Manager.
you are the first person to notice this and say something! congrats! marksman had to sacrifice some of its yellow. this has been a thing since 1.0 (a lot of the 1.0 content was made back when LUT editing was still very undocumented)
honestly when the improved tools are out, i'll probably do a MIY redux, or do a different similarly "helldiver-friendly" set of texture edits with more polish. myself and the rest of the team know a LOT more now.
there are other people taking up the "helldiverized" armor set mantle and i'd recommend checking them out for alternate takes or to fill in some of MIY's gaps. https://www.nexusmods.com/helldivers2/mods/4580?tab=posts&BH=2
yea i also noticed it on the b-01 sets. i was trying to see if it was cause by a specific armor by disabling all the ones that looked like they shared pieces.
Hello, first of all i wanna say thank you for making the mod as it really fits the game aesthetics. And i got a request for the 1.4 Release, could you guys make the Killzone armors yellow? Both AC-1 Dustful and AC-2 Obedient, changing the goggles color to yellow and Changing the Olive camo for AC-1 Dustful to Black or Yellow. And could you guys keep the Helghan Empire symbol on the pauldrons? Only replacing the Red color with Yellow for it to fit in. I'd really appreciate it if yall could do it for the 1.4 Release.
That's all, thank you again for the awesome mod and i wish yall goodluck with the mod!
Small nitpick, but I feel some of the armors and helmets are a bit too dark. Would it be possible to get a dark gray rather than black option? (Notably on the plastic-looking ones)
I agree, there's a few more plastic armours that are a bit darker than they should be, it'd be really nice if we could get a lighter shade of grey for them. Absolutely loving this mod though, I don't think I can go back to playing without it at this point.
Hi NytteEnhet, I have a personal suggestion for the B-22 Model Citizen armor recolor. Perhaps instead of the light grey can it be light blue or darkish navy blue color? I might be asking too much, since my own preference doesnt really stand out with others like here but I really want more super earth colors going on the good old black, white, and blue. Thanks in advice! : )
