Been running this for a couple weeks now. It seems either version of the mech can disappear. As it turns out. Sound mods are causing the mech to disappear. Mantis turning invisible? Move your exo sound mods below the mantis mod in the mod manager or disable other mech mod sounds, bam fixed.
I kept the old version of this well done mod because I personally did like the option to use the camo's on the mantis, but after a major reset I lost the file. Any chance you might readd the older version just as an outdated standalone?
This mod refuses to work with the mod manager all of a sudden. I had it in the mod manager just fine earlier, but I wiped my mods for a fresh load order and now when i try to add this one it "loads" for 2 seconds and then gives up. deleted and reinstalled the mod, didn't work, fresh install of the manager, didn't work. What's the issue all of a sudden?
seems to be a bug with the new models. sometimes when you start a mission only the mech arms will be visible up to a distance, you can't seem to go very far before the body of the mantis disappears. I was just in a match with 4 people using mechs (patriots and one emancipator), mine and one other's mech was having this issue (1 patriot 1 emancipator). patriot using the standard and emancipator using the extended. i've done trial and error and can't quite seem to pinpoint the cause of this.

I did replace weapons to "Default" variants, but they are not affected.
Like others have mentioned the emancipator extended canopy does turn invisible when up close. The standard canopy works fine. So this needs a patch.
