Is there any chance of having an all-in-one option that works for every language? Me and some friends frequently change the audio language because it's fun, but it sounds like that would make this version unusable, correct?
What can be done is to combine all the language options into one, which will only work for the included languages. This is something you can arrange yourself.
The Mod Manager stores mods unpacked in a directory you can find by going to its settings, copying the Storage Directory address and pasting it into file explorer. When you find it, you just take the contents of all the language folders and cram them into one, then select that option in the mod manager, purge and deploy, and you should be good to go. Alternatively, you can extract the zip, rearrange files, zip it again and import it.
I'm not personally aiming to support that release as it's a niche use of an already niche mod + every time one does purge and deploy (something to do whenever a mod is disabled, removed, or changed), it performs a lot of file operations which are of no benefit to most users.
THANK YOU!.... I can not stand when developers insist on forcing the player to watch and listen to the same tired out intro every.single.time that we want to just play the game. On top of that, it's always got to be these full length movies rather than just title cards then press button to start game.
If Arrowhead would spend some time on here and pay attention, they could easily make their game natively better by adding options like this. Thank you for your efforts
If this happens consistently, try skipping only the first part of the intro, that seems to be helping the stability. I've been attempting to get both parts to skip, but it hasn't been working out too well so far. You still have to click once to get into the game regardless because of the splash screen, so that's not too bad.
Yeah... that unfortunately worked for me, damn that overly long intro was part of my headache, hopefully someday you'll be able to trace down the crashing cause. Still gonna use the mod though.
Unfortunately in the new update it breaks some sounds (for example the ship jumping in the hyperspace or pods being prepped). Idk why but it somehow messes with them.
Repeatedly, huh..? Now that is interesting. Are you active on your PC when the game is launching? I have found that not giving the game any inputs before it's ready tends to help its stability as I had launch crashes without this mod as well. Not this frequently, though. It also tends to happen more when a high amount of mods is redeployed (I have around 35). Do you purge and deploy or just deploy via the Mod Manager?
I used mod manager to deploy on top of my 11. after the first crash I launched again as you mentioned it may have a first time crash. it crashed again and I wasn't touching my keyboard. I tried again. checked mod manager to see which language it was set to and it's english as I play on english so no problem there. I have 2 sound replacment mods and the rest are capes and armor skins. I just took it as my other mods causing the issue since nobody else here had commented about it.

Before doing so, make sure Intro Skips are the only mod loaded and that you have chosen the correct language version if applicable.

The game crashed on me yesterday while I was playing.
Idk why but it somehow messes with them.
+1
Also, which language do you play the game in?
Thanks again
