just in case somebody didn't know. you have to avoid using two or more music(extraction/ambience/descent) mods together, because they use the same archive in the game thus can lead to mods conflict and music not playing. In other words - At the current state, it's not likely you can have more than one music mod working unless you combine the two mods together manually with a tool.

if you guys would like to have two or more music mods combined together feel free to ask me! I can try to make one for you

Hello, may I know if it's fixed now or is it still a problem with the new version?

if anyone's mod-manager is unable to be opened after loading a mod
the mod maaybe broken or unavailable when loading. Open the HD2MM install directory:
under C:\Users\ASUS(for me)\AppData\Local\Helldivers2ModManager, and delete whatever you added last and try again.

I really love this mod, but I cant use it with https://www.nexusmods.com/helldivers2/mods/1061?tab=description T_T ( due to the reasons already stated by the creator ) aka nikke extraction music, it combines very well with this mod. & the loadout song you used in this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/helldivers2/mods/1909?tab=description
Is there any documentation on how to make these packs myself? or is it too complex?

yep, there's this guide, basically the first step is to download wwise from Audiokinetic, just set the wwise up and you never need to open it again, then just download hd2 audio modder. it's not very hard but it is a bit confusing to do it the first time, I'd recommend joining the modding community(you don't have to be a modder to join) there's a lot of shared info and resources on the servers.

but anyway I made you the combined one: here's your mod

      1. Thank you so much for providing that file & the guide.
      2. I've installed & had a scroll through the music lists & am a bit confused on the process of changing ship ambiance, a bit too busy with online business calculus classes to fully understand but:
      - You search in music, then use the file code to search for said ship ambiance.

I'm sure I will figure out the rest in due time in discord logs or something, Just really want to replace the songs with ace combat/project wingman sound tracks, if you are interested, have a listen to "IUN briefing",  Fort Grays airbase hangar, IUN debriefing, etc. https://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/album/ace-combat-7-skies-unknown-original-soundtrack

      Regardless, thank you sm

ooh the bass! all of these tracks go so hard! Ambience huh? that's pretty easy, for ambience you'll only need to write patch for archive "2e24ba9dd702da5c" with the HD2 audio tool. just prepare your ambience audio,(could be mp3, WAV, AAL, FLAC...ect) and name your file the entry you want to replace, for instance: ship ambience music-1524611437487953956, so let's say your audio file is wav file. after you name it 1524611437487953956.wav and drag it into the audio modder and it'll auto convert it into a wem file and replace the original music for you. after inport remember to adjust the segment duration or else your music would get cut early, some segments may already be adjusted but make sure to check all segments then you can go to top left "file" option and click "write patch" and you'll get your patch, then just zip the patches and your mod's done!

      The entries are as follows

      • Ship ambience music(advice to set audio volume to 30~50% in advance)-1524611437487953956
      • Ship ambience white noise (you decide to silence this or not)-17763359945178393624
      • Galactic map music(I just replace this with a short silenced audio file)-7820702089764710742

There's actually a second ambience that plays right after you travel to another mission on the same planet, so I call it the second ambience:

      • Second Ambience music(you could have another ambience music here)-14146073986437523890
      • Second Ambience white noise-2760516155066936438
      • second galactic Map music-12963627823253797490

I made this document for myself so I can locate the ones I need easier, it's a bit messy but feel free to check it out

oh no, is it not working for everyone? yikes I thought the file works for most people. by the way, I just thought of this but you'll have to make sure to not use other music mods when using this mod. because most of the music in the game is stored in a single archive "2e24ba9dd702da5c" if I have two music mods installed, it'd mean there are two "2e24ba9dd702da5c" in the game data, and that would leads to mods not working properly. it's a frequent problem people run into.
