For everyone wondering about modding the audio: unfortunately I can't really explain everything in here. The important part is that you have to use Wwise (the audio program) to convert your audio files into their proprietary Vorbis format in order for the game to be able to load them. I wrote a custom script based on some parts of the Helldivers 2 Modding Tool to read the game files and then repackage my custom audio files and update the necessary file entries.
Tools are currently in development to make audio modding easier.
Is there a discord or something I can join to follow along progress with audio modding development? I badly want to modify the player characters voice lines but whenever I extracted the files last it was impossible to sort through all those files alone..
Hi, Thanks for the mod, and your modding tool (hd2-audio-modder)
I noticed while browsing it with your modding tool that you packed in the .stream file all the other character's original voice lines, which would cause conflicts with other mods.
ever since i learned about helldivers 2 modding i scrounged around for a way to mod audio files so i could turn pelican-1 into pequod from mgsv. as far as i can discern, you are the only person who knows how to mod helldivers 2 audio files in the world. i beg of you to share your knowledge.

how did you managed to mod sound files?
I've only been able to extract files but have no idea how to import them back into the game
Also can you make a mod where you could replace Eagle-1 with Viper from titanfall?
and if I may, completely up to you but if you would consider making an optional file using this music
