Ill give this a try later. Just wanted to say, Voice Attack is perfectly safe for people to use. I'd used it for nearly 3 months straight when the game launched. It's remarkably good software to go alongside Helldivers.
What this mod does, is give you all the preset voiceless for activation so you don't have to fiddle with it yourself
I can't quite figure out what i'm doing wrong, my commands are recognized in VA, but in Helldivers it just opens the tac menu for a sec then closes it. I play on controller but can still use my keyboard during normal play so idk what im doing wrong.
Are you using ~0.01 seconds for pauses? If so, it means that you are issuing the whole keystroke chain in approx. one tenth of a second. VA itself warns that this might be too fast for some applications. You can try increasing the pause between commands:
Click on 'Edit Profile'
Right-click on any spoken command, then click on 'Edit'
Thanks for this, but better instructions on how to install this thing into VoiceAttack would be appreciated. In fact, any instructions at all would be appreciated. Where do we put the .vap file? How do we get the app to see it? Do we need to buy the app to be able to use this profile? I've dropped the .vap file into the AppData/Roaming/VoiceAttack folder, into the steam installation folder, etc, but the app doesn't see it, regardless of where I put it, nor does it let me load it into the thing in any way. When I try to import the profile all I get is a grayed out menu telling me to buy the full product.
I can't even seem to load commands from another profile into the default profile as there's no way to make the app see the helldivers file, either.
I have just updated the read me with better instructions on how to install the profile. It looks like you are using the demo, so just press alt+e and choose import on the bottom left. You can only use up to 20 commands with the demo, but I have steps explaining a way to get around that on the mod page that I will have updated very soon on the mod page.
if you are still having issues let me know Thanks for the feedback
Are you talking about the spoken command if so that's due to when I was testing the program recognized that prompt easier and more often than other versions. If you would like to change that prompt check the description I have listed steps to follow
Yes, I changed a lot of minor things, but you did all the heavy lifting so thank you again.
For example, one detail is that whenever I said "eagle" as part of a command with more words, the one set up as just "eagle" always activates (which I think is the Airstrike in your file), instead of the correct one. I also increased the pause between commands into a possible-for-a-human range just to be safe.
Of course I can! But maybe it's easier to just: Right-click on any spoken command > Edit > Edit any pause command > change the value to whatever (mine is 0.1) > check 'Mass Update'.
Voice Attack uses voice-activated AI to input keyboard commands automatically. For example, the 500Kg Eagle bomb requires you to type in the directional commands (up, right, down, down, down) to call it in. With Voice Attack, you speak verbally into your headset/microphone, "500Kg Eagle bomb" and the AI will input those keys for you. It is a fantastic tool that I use for the game Elite: Dangerous. I hope this explanation helped!

Youve misspelled "minefield" in all the voice commands by default
its written as "minefeild" which means it won't recognize that command
just thought a heads up was needed so you can change it saving anyone else future headaches
but all in all a fun mod and super useful

Thanks for the feedback
btw, is there a reason why you put "minefeild", "sheild", etc. or they are just typos?
Thank you for the comment

Let me know if you want my file anyways.
