HEAVY UNITS REMASTERED HERE 




Sick of poor audio balancing? Want to hear your enemies? That is the goal of Chaff Units Remastered. While I do love Helldivers 2, it's plagued with poor mixing and balancing. I intend to simply enhance the vanilla sounds rather than replace them with uncanny remixes of other games.

- Remastered Berserker, Devastators, and Troopers.
- Audible chainsaws.
- Audible footsteps.
- Remastered Scout/Rocket Striders.
- Rockets now have audible sounds when fired.
- Woosh noises are distinct when they fly pass you.
- Explosions have more bass and are louder.
- A bit more audibility to footsteps as they were fine before.
- Lasers are also more audible.
- Remastered Spewers.
- Footsteps are audible.
- Spewers have a more distinct launching noise.
- Bile Mortars actually have a more distinct woosh as they descend.
- Louder explosions with a bassier delivery, should make blowing them up satisfying.

- Patched existing sounds for bots, bugs, and squids. Enemies should no longer be muted with the Newly Remastered Footsteps and various sfx.
- Improved the firing sounds for Squids, Overseer staffs should be more clean and not as loud as before when firing their staffs.
- Remastered the Fleshmob
- Improved stomps, voicelines, and fleshy sounds. Should be more audibly grotesque.
- Remastered Crescent Overseers
- Improved Plasma Launchers arming, firing, explosion, and distant sfx

- Fixed Compatibility Issue with Hulks and Fleshmobs caused by using Heavy Units Remastered.
    - Fleshmobs no longer make hulk stomps when colliding with destructible objects. Spaghetti code.
- Readjusted Troopers and improved Footsteps, Weapons, Flares, and Explosives further.
- Cleared up excess noise on all sounds.
- Distant explosions are more audible.
- Lasers and rocket firing sfx have saw an audibility increase.
- Footsteps are even LOUDER and added some missing footstep sfx.
- Nades beep a little bit louder but I'm still unsure if there's a real difference.
- Adjusted the Volume of Fleshmobs voicelines
- Lowered groans and roars so they don't overshadow other sounds so much.
- Adjusted Devastator's weapons.
- Flame Shotguns and Rifles are now audible.
- Improved untouched rocket sfx.
- Audible explosions.
- Absolute cinema.
- Improved Overseer Grenades.
- Explosions and beep beeps are more audible. 
- Reformatted Manifest Icons in the install.

- Fully reverts elevated overseers weapons and nades to vanilla volume for those who want a bit more clarity

- Lowered the volume of firing sounds and explosions for more clarity.

- Added a new audible death SFX featuring layered audio samples to for more depth.

2.8.6 - File size optimization
- Optimize file size.
- Lowered the volume of Stalker's uncloaking.
- Reverted Heavy Devastator firing SFX to vanilla.
- Added Watchers to the Quieter Mix.  
- Reverted most general voicelines and attack SFX to vanilla.
- Properly repatched TF2 voices, fixing them.
