Working great! Thanks for sharing this crucial mod for us controller users. Megacorporations can't even bother to implement controller support natively in their games.
Any chance you'd be willing to make one of these for Switch Pro Controller? So A button image replaced by B button image and vice versa, X image replaced by Y image and vice versa. I have the inputs flipped in Steam so the layout matches what's on screen visually - top button uses held item, left button is weapon/tool, etc - but the labels are wrong and in other menus I always have to remind myself that if it says to press X, I need to press Y on my pro controller (which is remapped through steam to send X signal to the game). Having the layout correct and the labels wrong is the lesser evil than labels correct and layout wrong but it'd be great if they could both be correct!
Idk if it's okay to offer this and can edit if it's not, but I'd be happy to send a small donation your way if you did put one together.
Great mod, as I play with a PS4 controller very often.
would be great to have more Harvestella mods here on Nexus, e.g. 24h hour display in UI, or disable depth of field on world map, or permanently display quest tracker (aka don't fade out while moving)... maybe even more.
One thing I would strongly recommend is to disable the Step ability for melee classes. It’s a little annoying and doesn’t work as it’s intended when you can just reposition yourself.
f*#@ing amazing. When the devs can't be bothered to do something, in steps the modding community. Thank you so much for this! I cannot play with xbox layouts, I grew up with a SNES and it's hard-wired now.

Very surprised to find this is the ONLY mod for this game though. I was hoping for some QOL improvements the devs left out.
