   This doesn't work in the latest version, but you don't need it anymore anyway.
   
   You can just launch the game with the option -no-splash
   or edit the config.ini and set SkipSplashScreen=true

      Edit: I suppose I should elaborate, for anyone else looking to do the same. I just editted the game's config.ini file like you said, the second method. Easiest time I've ever had modding a game, ever.

      thanks for letting me know.  I may take a look, but they probably just forced the splashes in the Unity player.

      I can concur this does not work. :(
      
      A mod for a different game took a different approach. The game forced the 4 or so splash screens that were 5 seconds each. The modder made blank screen splash screens that were incredibly short. So the game just wooshed right up to the main menu. I think it was icarus...
