This simple mod adds a greenscreen to the background of the MCC customisation menu. It was created to allow me to more efficiently crop armour and weapon images for use in Halopedia articles, but I figured it may be useful for others too.
To install it, simply download the file and navigate to the directory; Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\MCC\Content\Movies
Find the file FMS_player_customization.bk2 and make a backup of it. Then drop the modded file into this folder and boot up the MCC customisation menu.
You could rename the modded file to any of the files in that folder to get more greenscreens for other menu components, but I can't really see why you'd want to do this.
Given this is simply a menu background, it should be compatible with anti-cheat.
As it replaces the customisation menu background, this works with every single game's customisation menu, I'm just lazy and didn't want to upload seven games' worth of images for preview.
This mod has several different colours to choose from - the green is listed as the main file, but there are several others listed under optional colours that you can use too. These include;
Black
Grey
White
Light blue
Dark blue (designed to emulate the December 2019-Novemeber 2020 background before they updated it with Halo 4)
