I've been trying to make needler ghost ai use the overcharge special fire ability through the weapon properties and through the fire patterns, but so far no luck at all. They fully charge the correct time but the projectiles never come out no matter what error angle values, etc. Any ideas if this is possible?
I struggle with it too. I tried to copy the plasma pistol hoping it would work, but the AI was only able to overcharge and if it weren't fully loaded, no projectile would come out.
The only idea I have is to edit the weapon under "New Triggers" "behavior". I believe that will do the most changes to the AI.
The Ghost default needler is a supercombine projectile. So it will always explode. There is no supercombine version for the small needlers. They're mini bombs.
Unfortunately I don't know how to get the AI to use both versions. The only thing I can do right now is to let them use one ot them.
In Halo 3, the AI can't supercombine anyone. I tested it with an AI that shoots thousands of needles at me. This also applies to other AIs. Except CE and I believe that 2 can supercombine, the others can't.
I tried to make the ghost damage so that it takes about 3 seconds to kill a stationary enemy.
The Needler is a copy-paste vehicle from a Ce-Mod and with the emp effect working in 3, it becomes a particularly annoying vehicle against other vehicles. It was designed to be better against vehicles, but not so much against infantry. That's why for the slow fire rate.
The Shade should do damage °-°. I mean, it's copies the Shade itself.... it kills a Spartan (stationary) in 3 seconds.
The fuel rod should not be reloaded. I thought of it more like the plasma rifle. Attached weapons on a vehicle cannot be reloaded at all. They have infinite ammo.I will try to do something similar, but i will add that later.
I might also add some "reloading" for spikers and needlers. Maybe I could modify the overheating effects to make it more visible.
For the spiker. I set the damage to 16 instead of 10. That would make it a 3 second kill too.
"Some" boosts are beautiful? Do you mean the color change or because of the color change like RGB?
The fuel rod always generated heat. So I thought it would be better if we knew how much we can shoot with it. So kinda a reload.... The needle charge is new. I added it to have a "faster" shooting mechanic.
