i tryed to download it on nexus.com and i was signed in and it never gave me map files and i downloaded the sound files twice that was the only file i could download and i turned off anti cheat nothing worked
what i dont understand is why anyone would publish a mod this amazing just to have it not work a week after release and not update it. cmon man we wanna play this super badly..
no, its because they are updating them only on steam workshop, which excludes all microsoft bought halo master chief collections, thats what i dont understand. no one should have to buy another copy to use mods, and i wont so i probably wont be able to enjoy these mods until they stop forgetting abt the original holders of mcc and its a shame because ive spent money on mods to be created and help donated to rejected countless times but in the end all i was left with was "steam workshop is the way of modding now, im sorry theres nothing i can do" yet there is you just wont do it. modding community is chalked.
so are ya'll just gonna abandon the users on the windows version? kinda fucked up to force people to buy the entire game again on steam to enjoy your mod.
edit: since ya'll want to say its fucked up that he'd have to put more work into the mod for a niche community or how even microsoft gave up on the windows store version, im going to say this. a.) he wont have to put more work into the mod as BOTH versions can be manually modded in the exact same way. you read that? BOTH. its proven given how before steam workshop support was added to the steam version this mod was available to BOTH versions. therefore, by only posting it on the steam workshop means he is blanetly telling the people who may have bought the game on sale on the windows store or gotten it gifted to them are asked out which is not right. b.) as stated in the last point towarsd the end, some people may have bought it on sale on the windows version and dont have the budget to just go and buy the game they own all over again on a different launcher. logically, that makes no sense to do if you already own the game.
so if you wanna say cry about it more or any other bullshit, go ahead, i dont care.
edit 2: if you say its not possible then look no further than the av-22 sparrowhawk, a mod that is on both nexus and steam workshop
Thank you for the updated content, this mod is awesome! Is there a way to make the AI respawn? I set the AI spawn points for 10 seconds but they don"t respawn, in forge or custom games.
