Your mod was recently covered in a nice YouTube video!
I'm glad it was because it showed me that you were still supporting the mod! I remember stumbling across this mod by chance a long while back and I'm so glad you're still supporting it. Halo 2 With Sprinkles is my favorite mod for MCC and the work you're doing for the Halo mod scene is wonderful!
Just wondering do ODST spawn on regret ? Also a lot of halo 3 and reach weapons have been ported to halo 2 any plans on adding them to the workshop release. Also still the best mod beside halo 2 flood firefight.
Ok, I got to know something and it ain't got anything to do with the quality of the mod.
Because I can't play it, because the Vortex version is plain un-usable. And that's the the whole point of this comment.
Why give a Vortex option, if your mod is not packaged to be compatible with it??
Where is the directory folder? It won't work for mod managers, if there's no directory.
I've seen mod authors make this same mistake over and over, and It's just plain annoying and easily avoidable.
Thanks to the youtuber Kyot, I know you're mod is good, and this small easily fixable Directory issue is the only thing stopping me from enjoying it myself and others like me who use Vortex and mod managers.
Hey, your mod looks super cool, I plan on playing it tonight, but is there gonna be a Steam Workshop release for this? It'd make the install a lot more painless, and also the uncapped download speeds are a massive bonus.
You need to make two Directory folders in the mod folder to make it work for a mod manager.
In the the folder called"Vanilla With Sprinkles," the main folder of the mod, you'll find map data sitting out all on their own.
This data needs to go in a folder called halo2. One word, no caps
Then once the map data is inside thehalo2 folder, you'll then create a second new folder within thehalo2 folder and call it... h2_maps_win64_dx11
Then drag the map data into that new folder and the mod should now work. Though it won't show up in the campaign menu, 'cause this method mods the built in campaign, not add a new one to the list. Just keep that in mind, incase you're not ok with modding the main game.
Here's how the folders should look in order.
Vanilla With Sprinkles/halo2/h2_maps_win64_dx11
I hope this helps. It did for me.
And if you're unsure about all this, do a little bit of research about directory folders before proceeding. Or get a second opinion, your choice, but what I gave you is pretty much the gist of it.
Few things, the static thing still happens. I think when a voiceline is broken by an action, like they don't finish speaking, the static will continue until that character speaks again. One other thing is that whatever weapons the brutes have on that last gravemind bridge before the mausoleum is OP. I'm on heroic and I'm getting one shot by it over and over trying to keep my allies alive.
Yeah that's my fault, the civil war encounters are all supposed to spawn together but the base level script got reverted at some point, I'll have to go back and fix that for the workshop release

Is there a way to stop dead grunts from blowing up or dissapearing?Because I can't play it, because the Vortex version is plain un-usable. And that's the the whole point of this comment.

click on open in file manager
then click on the 3 dots on MCC in vortex
click open game folder, find a file named halo2 and open it, then open h2_maps_win64_dx11
you need to replace the original map files with the modded ones, but id save the original files somewhere
This worked for me, but it may not work for you.
Pls help! Really want to play this mod.
