Man I wish this still worked, i'd love to give it a try! How did you go about converting an H3 multiplayer map to ODST for firefight? I'd love to do the same thing with Sandtrap, and am trying to currently figure it out.
Hey! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I was able to get Sandtrap working in ODST. Now i'm just getting the map set up with the tutorial at the link. I am a noob when it comes to scripting, so this might take awhile haha. Are their any video guides you know of for making custom firefight levels?
Great job dude ! Had a blast on this one, the way the units spawns and jump from the top of the canyon into the base is brilliant and the way the phantom drops in the units ! So far the few bugs i encountered are mainly to do with the pathing, they wont chase up to the sniper tower, or when trying to hold with your squad where the sandbags with the turret is, most of the time enemy units will just stand in front of base. Man great mod, it's really awesome! My suggestion would be to make the phantom drop em at the beach not in front of the base. Second, i don't know how allies movement are coded but would be great if a specific spawn could always go hold the same position within the base, also would it be possible to buff them and make em respawn every set? Video is on the way :D
This mod is so fun. I tried it with Flood and Covenant. Awesome. Bit glitchy with the humans getting infected though. If you save them they just become statues. But its fun nonetheless.
