I did some for myself. Like the captured animation. It's really funny how they have voices for it. They say they want to go home and that they want to fight with you. When i do the elites i will add the animations.
Would you by any chance be interested in giving out the animation files (jma, jmm, jmo)? Would be really cool to see stuff like dual wielding brutes in Halo Wars mods, you'd be credited obviously.
i was thinking you can add Hunter Special Operations with Shade Cannons and black armor and Covenant Special Operations grunt and jackel Jackal Marksmen ultra and Major they from halo spv3 mod i was trying to make that i had no idea how to, i was hoping you can make that.
The Hunter should be easy to make. I've already uploaded the base file to Nexus. A little change and then they have the look from them. The Grunts are Halo Reach style. Thats makable The Jackal is a little more special. They have a unique animation as there was no carbine sniper jackal in CE. The Helmet should be easy to make. And the shield is something i already have. I used it on my map.
Just tried the demo map, pretty nifty stuff. The brute whelps with the H2 Berserk animation are very cool. I love how fast they move around and how hard they are to hit. Rangers were pretty jank since they just kind of floated around, looked like they were using a falling animation or something, the sword animations weren't really very good either since the brute doesn't actually swing the sword. But the stuff that works well is very very cool.
Definitely gonna look into including some of this stuff in my tagset. Keep it up. ?
Thank you I accidentally forgot to add the "aim_move_up" in the flight files. That's why they just float around. I will fix it today. It should look like a falling animation. That's how I wanted it. They are a little stiff. I'll probably replace it with some others. Swod animation isn't somthing new. It's just the unarmed version of the Brutes. I'll redo it when the importer has better bone rotation for these type of files. So it would be better for IK.

When i do the elites i will add the animations.
In the "Zones"
Place some Firing Points in the Air.
In the "Objective"
Select the Task they use.
And add the Area with the Flying Firing Points.
That schould fix your problem.
p.s.
You can use "Alt" key to put the firing points in the air or
use a "Collisions plane" under "Structure Data".
Have fun with it.
