Halo 3 XL Campaign Mod

A harsh, cooperative-focused campaign. Enemy AI are significantly more deadly and numerous; while TTK is far lower.

Changes from Vanilla - If unlisted, it is kept vanilla.

AI changes:

- 1-4x more enemy AI.
- AI fire at realistic ranges with their weapons.
- Buggers gain 2x health.
- Grunts and Jackals gain impetuous morale.
- AI drop fewer grenades.
- AI throw grenades at realistic velocities.
- AI have higher rate of fire.
- AI have improved reaction time and accuracy.
- Friendly AI gain around 50% more health on all difficulties.
- Friendly elites on 'Floodgate' and 'Covenant' fight slightly more defensively.
- Flood have deadlier melee.
- Flood ranged form have less health.
- Flood spores have deadlier bite.
- Flood spores slightly more aggressive.
- Flood spores take 2x longer to infect target.
- Hunters: 2x projectile speed, rate of fire, lower cooldown time.

Weapon changes:

- Assault Rifle: Rate of fire nerf, 2x damage buff, headshot capability added, projectile speed buff, ammo nerf, aim assist nerf.
- Battle Rifle: Over 2x damage buff, fully automatic, small ammo buff, no longer burst fire, increased zoom, aim assist nerf, no longer hitscan, slight accuracy nerf
- Beam Rifle: 66% higher damage, small ammo buff.
- Brute Shot: Nearly 2x damage and ammo buff, 2x projectile speed, large range increase, slight explosive radius buff.
- Covenant Carbine: Over 2x damage buff, fully automatic, small ammo buff, increased zoom, projectile speed nerf, aim assist nerf.
- Energy Sword: Does not lose charge on kill hits.
- Flamethrower: 4x range, 2x fire duration and damage, 2x projectile range, slight ammo buff, less immune to gravity
- Fuel Rod: 2x projectile speed.
- Machinegun Turret: Significant rate of fire increase, 2x ammo, damage nerf, headshot capability added, accuracy buff
- Magnum: 2x Higher rate of fire and ammo, minor damage buff, aim assist nerf.
- Mauler: 2x damage, significant rate of fire and ammo buff, 4x range, no longer dual wield.
- Needler: 2x range, rate of fire, and projectile speed. Over 2x damage per needle, 1 less needle to supercombine.
- Plasma Cannon Turret: Minor rate of fire increase and damage increase, 2x ammo, accuracy buff
- Plasma pistol: Slight damage buff, large ammo capacity nerf, over 2x projectile speed.
- Plasma rifle: Slight damage buff, 2x rate of fire and projectile speed, better cooling capability.
- Shotgun: 2x damage, minor rate of fire and ammo buff, 4x range.
- Spiker: 3x higher damage, headshot capability, 2x projectile speed, 2x slower rate of fire, more immune to gravity, more ammo, accuracy buff, cannot dual wield.
- Rocket Launcher: 2x projectile speed and minor ammo buff.
- Sentinel Beam: 2x more ammo
- SMG: Nearly 2x rate of fire increase, 4x more ammo, projectile speed nerf, small damage increase and accuracy buff.
- Sniper Rifle: 66% damage increase, 2x ammo.

Grenade changes:

- Firebomb: 2x fire duration and impact damage

Equipment changes:

- Autoturret: 2x duration and range, longer burst duration, 10x more health, faster target aquisition when turret is pointed towards hostiles
- Bubble Shield: 2x longer duration
- Deployable Shield: 10x more health for lower part of shield
- Grav Lift: 2x longer duration
- Jammer: 2x duration
- Power Drain: 2x duration
- Regenerator: 2x duration
- Tripmine: 2x duration, no more cooldown time to pickup
- Some equipment now have lowered cooldown time to pick up after use

Vehicle changes:

- Warthog and Scorpion can now block projectiles from damaging player shields/health depending on angle and damage threshold.
- Some vehicles given health buff to compensate.
- Over 3x longer Turnover Time for all vehicles; so driver isn't kicked out of vehicles too fast after a flip
- Banshee: 2x projectile speed, accuracy nerf, slight increase to banshee bomb homing range, Significant boost to agility
- Chopper: 2x rate of fire, 2x stronger boost
- Ghost: 2x projectile speed, over 2x range, 2x rate of fire, accuracy nerf, Significant agility buff and speed, boost strength nerf
- Hornet: Slight rate of fire buff, 2x faster missile projectile speed, doubled reticule range, 50% more agility
- Mongoose: 1st person for driver seat, nearly 2x top speed
- Scarab: large rate of fire and projectile speed buff.
- Scorpion: Rate of fire increased for both weapons, headshot capability added for turret, slower turret projectile speed, 1st person turret
- Shade Turret: 3x rate of fire, 2x projectile speed
- Phantom turret: 2x rate of fire and projectile speed.
- Prowler: 2x rate of fire and projectile speed, accuracy buff, 1st person side seats, anti-gravity boost, significant speed increase, now shoots shade turret projectiles
- Wraith: 2x faster projectile speed, 2x turret rate of fire, increase in turret damage, Nearly double boost strength, 2x base speed, 1st person turret, turret accuracy buff, significant agility buff, now shoots shade turret projectiles from turret
- Warthog: Much higher rate of fire for Machinegun turret, 1st person passenger, headshot capability added, slower turret projectile speed, 4 wheel turning, 24% higher top speed

- If 1st person driving cam is wanted for other vehicles, add the line: 'camera_driver' (without '') to Camera Marker Name to driver seat. It does make driving more difficult, so it is not included in other vehicles.

Player changes:

- Slight health and shield buff (+10 health, +15 shields).
- No longer spawn with grenades after death on coop without Iron.

Other changes:

- No more movement slowdown when Cortana or the Gravemind speaks to player.
- Weapons/Objects/Debris no longer disappear until entering a new area.
- Can now trade weapons with Arbiter

Bugs and issues:

- Please report any problems on NexusMods in comments section.

- Rare visual bugs with skybox and weapons can occur when too many AI are alive. I have minimized this as much as I could, but I don't want less enemy AI.
- Projectiles may occasionally vanish during the start of the double scarab fight on 'Covenant' due to too many projectiles firing.
- A shade turret on 'Covenant' has a clipping issue.
