No idea why I'm replying to a comment from a few months ago, but this review really brought a smile to my face and sounds about as excited as I was feeling when trying the mod out for the first time.
As of 12/7/2022 this mod is now moving to Steam. Further updates will happen over on there and are much more user friendly to install in addition to being an automatic update process. I encourage you to check out the mod over there. Thank you!

There's a room in Guilty Spark well after you encounter the flood that traps the player with scenery. There's a combat form hiding in it too. The game saved a checkpoint after I got stuck and it killed my run -_-
You should probably fix that and not place so much scenery in tight corridors.
I kinda ragequitted after that. But its one of the smaller rooms after you encounter the weapon/ammo store rooms (with the gravity rifles and other trinkets), and after the elevator falls down. The room itself requires you to move through debris that only goes one way and gets you stuck.
And another thing, the BR sound is too soft relative to the other sounds.
Your mod is in my personal top favorites. Enjoy the music additions during certain points (and nice Easter Eggs on Pillar of Autumn lmao had a good laugh

Does this mod add the hook, the ability to run or the fall damage immunity that infinite has?, because would be a bit dissapointing that something like the hook doesn't be added
Grappling hook and sprinting isn't possible in Halo 1's engine outside of lua scripting which is not possible in MCC. Removing fall damage may be possible as a future addition but may take some tweaking to get working properly. The fall timer would also need to stay as it prevents the game from being softlocked.

Unfortunately, not. There are differences between MCC and Halo Custom Edition that prevent this. I would likely have to rebuild the mod for Custom Edition for it to function.
Really my only criticism is that the game is a little too easy now. Died maybe once on Heroic and that was because of me underestimating the scorpion blast radius. All in all a good mod tho. Made the game feel fresh.
