The newest file has a fair few changes compared to how the mod was before. Your marine no longer has damage reduction and increased health regen. I felt it made heroic too easy.
The dmr and needle rifle have had their fire rate nerfed.
Bubble shield is usable now! Spawns instantly. Has a 45 second cool down, 10 second uptime and more than 3x the health.
Armor lock is more or less gone. You now have an instant emp pulse with knock back. 30 second cool down. (can also be used in vehicles.)

I'll make this whole thing look better. I'll even throw in pictures so you know what you'll look like. That will have to wait until it's not 3am.

There are 2 types of files. ".map" files and ".asmp" files.
.map files are the maps themselves. They're large in size but installation is as easy as overwriting your old files.
.asmp files are patch files. You use Assembly to "Update" a preexisting map file. These files tend to be far smaller than .map files but require some effort.
To install .map files go to your map folder. For me its "D:\Games\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\haloreach\maps" and simply drag and drop the files in and overwrite.
To install .asmp files (patch files) you need Assembly, you can download that here > https://www.nexusmods.com/halothemasterchiefcollection/mods/1
once you have Assembly you want to open it up and click on "Tools" at the top, then click the "Map Patcher" button.
From there you'll hit "Apply Patch"
Now you want to set the corresponding file paths
"Patch to Apply" will be the .asmp file you downloaded from nexus
"Unmodified Map" will be the map you wish to apply the patch to
"Output Map" will be where you want the map file to end up. Make a simple "modded maps" folder and keep them all there.
Once you're done just copy and paste your modded map into your map folder.
Note: Make sure your modded map file has the correct name. So if you're trying to install "m45 long night of solace patch file" then you will name the .map file "m45.map"

(has backpack during the pillar of autumn mission... delivering a package after all)

(currently no zooming, although it will still increase your weapon range)
150% damage reduction
2x health regen rate
no shields
no being headshot
(to avoid one shots out of nowhere)
75% move speed
85% jump height

Shade turrets
detached mounted machine guns
energy swords
gravity hammers
zooming
(previously mentioned)
Some armour abilities
(only Sprint, jet pack, hologram, and active camo work)
(Evade works but doesn't spawn in any missions, I'll change that later)

No doubt the moment I have custom troopers sorted this will be the next step.
Weapon, vehicles, and more player balancing
Make more weapons more appealing to use, make vehicles better (currently a problem with the lack of shields)
Custom weapons
SMG? Plasma flame thrower? Plasma caster from that one reddit post that I'm totally not gonna steal? HELL YEAH! (no custom models tho unless we learn how to do that ;~;)
Noble team to marines/odsts
Jorge may stay as a spartan tho because he a tank. This may come after animations if any major issues come from it.
ANIMATIONS!
Allowing the use of more weapons/armour abilities and making some movements less clunky (jumping and jet packs)

Is this possible? Idk. Will I try? Hell yeah. Currently have a drop shield sized field that applies the engineer shield bonus in mind. Gotta find out more about how it works though
Customisation
Currently your primary and secondary colour will change the under armour of your ODST while the visor colour will change the actual colour of your armour. Use the default visor to use the colour I picked. (The black ODST in the images is using the black visor colour)
